- There is no more promising young surfer alive today than 14-year-old Kanoa Igarashi. This year alone, Kanoa placed 2nd at the Nike U.S. Open Pro Junior Tournament, 2nd at the King Of The Groms Global Championships in France, and became the youngest ever Under-18 U.S. National Champion. Last year he shattered the NSSA record with an astonishing 30 surfing victories in a single season! With a fierce competitive streak that runs through every aspect of his life, Kanoa is certain to be a force to be reckoned with in the years and decades to come.

Very cool life this guy lives. I like how he is mature enough to remember to play golf to calm down and focus on other than surfing. And such, this kid is quite mature and seems to take care of him self and chill out, sounds like a great boy!
Not just a great surfer, but also an A student. Awesome kid
The guy has an incredible life. A prodigy, lives near a beach, family is loaded(million+ dollar house with four cars in front), smart student, dedicated support from both parents(not pushy at least from video perspective). When he goes to high school he's going to have the pick of girls there(and since it's Cali it means bunch of super cute rich daddy's girls).
I've seen him surf at my homebreak a few times! This kid makes the most out of any surf out there!
