What do you think of level conversion lab? Potentially allows for the immediate summoning of a high level monster, but even if you roll a 5 or 6 you could use cost down to get them out without tribute regardless
I have a deck idea called shield breaker. You abuse rock spirit, grammarg/mobius, giant rat, millennium shield and big shield gardna. You run soul exchange in triples and play it like soul control. You free summon shield with rat on death and then play things like labyrinth of nightmare, nobleman, 2 cost down (for shield and for setting up rock spirit free summons) and sword and shield. You run stone statue of Aztecs and the gear golem with a big booty.
That's worth considering. However scapegoat is mainly there for enemy controller and can be activated during the opponent's turn, so that we can tribute summon the ancient gear monsters on the same turn, in which we activate enemy controller. Maybe I'll play two scapegoat and one stray lambs or two stray lambs and one scapegoat in the future.

Level conversion lab automatically removes one required tribute if you use it on golem

Why not use Stray Lambs instead of Scapegoat? That way you can use the tokens for a tribute set.
