Goat Format is one of the few YGO formats I can bother to watch a match without being bored by the cards playing themselves and turns taking longer than they should. If this becomes a series I'll be a regular watcher.
At 10:00 or so You can't use the dark hex sealed fusion for the fusion summon of Flame Wingman, we played the light hex sealed fusion for access to Thunder Giant, the dark one was to summon Sanwitch.
I immediately thought, "Why?" to this duel. Because here are the available cards for those archetypes in GOAT Format: Elemental Hero Avian Elemental Hero Burstinatrix Elemental Hero Sparkman Elemental Hero Clayman Elemental Hero Flame Wingman Elemental Hero Thunder Giant Hero Signal Ancient Gear Solider Ancient Gear Beast Ancient Gear Golem Yup, that's it. Elemental HEROes couldn't really work on their own until around Elemental Energy and Ancient Gear really couldn't until way after the GX era ended.
@@businesscatlimbo I know, but it isn't a format that suits this fun deck challenge. Even a few packs later, like Elemental Energy or even Duelist Pack: Jaden Yuki would've expanded at least the Elemental HEROes to have enough to make something fun. Cause note: I tried to build an Elemental HERO deck back when GOAT format was just called the current meta. And I know how it didn't feel like an Elemental HERO deck.
I find Goat format to be completely boring. Every turn is just too simple. I'm sure other people enjoy it, so I would recommend making more of these videos for the sake of diversity.

Yes you can lol, its not attribute specific, it can be used as ANY fusion material. The other just has to be correct

No its not really that simple, it just they are playing two really bad decks from that format.
