Just finished reading ‘Raising Warriors: Preparing Your Children For a Godly Life’ and it really opened my eyes to some new ways of guiding my kids in their faith. Highly recommend it if you’re looking to strenghten your family’s spiritual life

Steve is my dad not blood but this man's words have gave me a path in life that no father has in my life . I never met him but I as a 50 year old man has cried more listening to his words .I pray to God to meet this man I call a father and a friend I never met . I would cry like a baby . Thank you father for your heart and words you supply all the people that are your family. Love you very much .

    • @one234569and10
      @one234569and10 2 года назад +6

I don't beleive this. You might have depression, but every day is not a bad day. You don't feel in the dumps every day, and you don't hate life every day.
Some days are good days, some days people make you happy, they make you smile, and you can have a good time with them. That is Joy.
You might have depression, but you can also have joy.
It all depends on your frame of mind and what you are thinking.
      Change the way you think.
      REPEAT THAT!

You've got that right CD. Current culture has kicked men to the curb. I has slurred, defamed, disowned and denigrated us. Too many women are of the notion that they can do it all as a single parent. They can't. They are women, not men. Children need and want a father in their lives.

My brothers and I all grew up with a mom and dad but we were a dysfunctional family. Domestic violence was a common thing in the house. Dad was physically and verbally abusive to all of us. He's a narcissist. Nobody dared to oppose him because he's got guns (He's in the military).
Then one day our dad finally left us, mom had to raise us all by herself. She worked hard day and night so she can put food on the table and send us all to school. There were times we couldn't even go to school because we couldn't afford the bus fare. It was really tough but all the pain and the struggles didn't stop us from reaching our dreams. My mom was our solid rock and if it weren't because of her, we won't be successful professionals today. Now, she deserves all the love and support in her old age. As for my brothers, despite the childhood trauma caused by our abusive dad, they still managed to work on themselves and be the kind of man they are right now. So proud of them. ♥
Never ever let your bad experiences ruin your dreams. Use it as your motivation. 💪

It is the egg and sperm that miraculously creates another human being how then can we be talking about single parent? He's my baby's father but he's not my husband, she's my baby's mother but she is not my wife. This is the major problem as it relates to the issue of relationships too many persons are not counting the cost, and that moment of pleasure becomes a lifetime of pain and regret.

My husband passed away when my son was 6 (he's the baby) and he missed all that. It hit him hard as a teenager well starting at 12. Stayed in trouble. I was so scared for him the stuff he was doing. He's not 19 now and I'm so incredibly proud of him. He's a good father, goes to school and works. He completely cut all the bad stuff. He learned the power of trusting prayer.

It was a perfect arrangement..my mom got to go to a matenee by herswlf in the after noon. The lady who lived accross from us always made coffe and looked out her kitchen window to see my dad with us. She said when he dies...thats what she pictured....years later many people have moved in and out of our house bit she still lives there. Like anyone else talking SENSE, Steve Harvey leads well (as he always has) and emphasizes the critical NEED for fathers. God bless him for being a guiding light here!! Drives me nuts when politicians ignore the critical importance of the fathers in the community and act as if some PROGRAM or MONEY, etc. will replace the dads. While those things are intended to help, truth is, they're nothing better than a band-aid. NOTHING replaces the dads; the men in the community. So when your politicians aren't discussing that, learn to ignore them. They're only looking out for themselves.

He said it best, I always tell this to men or young men who didn’t have their fathers, when you become a father one day, be the best Dad ever. I mean literally go above and beyond for your kids. That’s the best feeling

      Hi uncle Steve,
I'm 42. Divorced after 8 years of marriage.I'm a single mother of two girls 8 and 5.I want to be in love again...but I am afraid letting myself out again. The "What if "questions are killing me. What if the guy isnot good step father for my kids? My kids have been in a bumpy road...during the divorce!
What if the guy break me?
Steve how do I go out of the insecurity?

Let He who is without sin cast the first stone ....He does alot of good to the world with all these shows. Love you Uncle Steve. God Bless you. Steve YOU'RE AMAZING!!! My Son's " bio d" ( His words) Tried to kill Us both and obviously isnt in Our Lives... it was rough and I know (7 years later) My Son is still hurting and can't understand WHY any of this happened. I Just do My Best to reassure Him HOW LOVED HE TRULY IS! By His Sister, His Friends, Teachers, ME, & ABOVE ALL GOD! I Just Dont Know WHAT ELSE To Do?!! I Mean ya We Pray Together ... He is Constantly worrying about Me Though.. and concerned that I do everything on My Own (I don't mind My Children come FIRST! They are only second to God!) He just can't help but worry about Me Though... is that normal?!! I don't know I just keep reminding Him His Sister NEEDS Her Brother it's NOT His job to be Her stand in father figure and I NEED MY SON I Don't want Him to try and take on the role of My partner it's not okay and I just Need Him To Be a Kid & BE HIM .... am I being Too Harsh?!! Also what you do to Help so Many people I Pray you Stay Blessed ❤️🙏

That was wonderful! There are so many young and grown men that could benefit from watching this, especially the part about having a discussion with fathers who were absent from their lives, hearing their story/reasons, and forgiving their fathers. I got emotional when several of the men (who reside in LA) raised their hands as willing mentors for the young man who was seeking a father figure to guide him through manhood. Whew! Awesome segment!

You know as children you will always be curious about your other parent. It's a natural mindset. So going over and finding out is perfectly fine but talk to the parent your living with let them know your not disappearing for good. Communication is key.
