    I have exactly this one since June, 10k km and been through EU - still happy! Coming from Tesla

      Im seriously thinking of buying one I tried one 2 days ago but I’m not comfortable with the range, it’s either that or or the new Tesla 3 highlander.
      Of course you can’t compare them the hongqj is insane in every department other than range and maybe the tech compared to Tesl, what tesla did you have and what do you think would suit me, live in Denmark ;)

      @@exigoful I had a Model S 2021 Long Range+ with proposed 650kms wltp, but that never happened in my two years ownership. I now own the Hongqi Exclusive Long Range (510km wltp) and i dont miss or think back to my teslas range. Maybe its because its the Long Range version here too, but i dont feel any difference. You charge after 4hours of nonstop drivning and you would totally make a stop anyways for toilet etc. Oh and you enjoy the hours, in the Hongqi i feel like driving and high speeds 180-190 kmh in germans for longer periods of time is no issue and super comfortable. In the Tesla i felt every defect in the road and i just wanted to arrive to the destination (boring and you end up having autopilot on all the time because you dont like the feedback from the steering Wheel). Hard to explain but my experience with tesla in 2.5 years was that it killed my like of driving a car and i thought it was because electric lol, until i tried Hongqi.

    I know a few people who have bought these, one of them bought two, one each for him and his wife. They’re big, they’re comfortable, they have lots of toys, it’s an appealing package if you don’t mind the looks.

    The reason the cruise control slows down on a curve or when there is something within a reasonable range is a great safety feature and is not annoying..that's a good bthing

    • @KrisRifa
      @KrisRifa  2 месяца назад +1

      No it’s not, it’s not a feature it’s a flaw. Other cars don’t that and have better calibrated ADAS

      @@KrisRifa Is that what the manufacturer says. Why don't you ask them instead of jumping to conclusions..to me its a great feature, not a flaw

      @@malcolmrunganga9723 that’s not what they told me after borrowing several press cars from them, when I complained about it. Why don’t you ask before jumping to conclusions.
      They are well aware of this flaw. And even if it was supposed to work this way, it is still a flaw, annoying and dangerous the way it works.

    Great video as always! The cruise control behaviour seems extremely annoying, especially if someone is behind you when you are trying to overtake another car before a curve in the motorway... On another note, are you planning to test the MG Marvel R Performance? Few days ago MG Norway reduced the price and it seems like a bargain (419.990 NOK) compared to smaller cars with 2wd, less than 200hp, and quite cheap interiors in the same price range (Avenger, Møkka, 2008, Citroën eC4 etc). You never test drove that car so I would like to know your thoughts about that one if you have the chance.

    Special music for this kind of video / test. More optimistic sounds / music would be better. That said, fine and informative test

    Another example where a huge monster car with a massive battery is not a road triper. Who needs this car?

    Over a million Krones for a dangerously unstable stupid computer on wheels? No thank you!

    Worse than e-tron 🤷

      E tron is still top dog when it comes to charging, comfort, ride quality or build quality though, edging Tesla in those categories.
