One thing I failed to mention about the canopy - when fully extended, it doesn't always old firm and kind of collapses a bit where it's still fully extended, but looks a little loose. Hope the review helped you to understand the stroller better. It's still a top 2 option in my opinion.

Baby coming next week! Putting the Minu v2 and Mesa in my car today! I don’t want to hassle with a full size stroller and don’t feel the need and we have a small CX-5 so a Vista or Cruz would take up our whole trunk. I just need it for walks around the neighborhood and maybe grocery store and outings every once in awhile.

For parents with long legs, UPPAbaby is really the only viable option. Even at a moderate stride, your toes hit the brake bar on almost every other stroller brand. I have Cruz V2 and Minu V2, and I love them both.

    • @dadverb

We got a Contours Bitsy about a year ago. Looks very similar but it was only $108. I'm sure it's lower quality in a lot of areas but when traveling, your stuff gets beat up by the airlines and we don't care as much when it's not a $400+ stroller. We have a Nuna Mixx Next at home too and sometimes I opt for the little cheap one just because it's so light and easier to fold and maneuver.

My family originally bought the MINU V2, but switching between toddler and infant was odd by having the adapters permanently attached. I didn't realize that the folding adapters were available before making the switch. We decided to go with the Nuna TRVL. Getting a Nuna Pipa on there is super nice and it hooks directly to the belly bar. The auto-fold is also pretty legit. We mix brands and still have the Uppababy VISTA.

Thank you for another excellent review. I currently have the Cruz V2 and I absolutely love it. However I’m keen into selling it so I can get a compact stroller due to my family’s lifestyle. We travel frequently and we really only need one stroller that can do everything especially one that folds compact and fits in the plane’s overhead compartment. I know there’s no such thing but I”we need something practical for our lifestyle without having to gate check the stroller and risk getting ding which sadly has happened to our V2 Cruz 😢. I’m looking into getting the butterfly for this reason. I know it’s not the best for terrains especially in Europe’s cobblestones but I think it had more pros than cons for me.

@@cookinma I’m sorry to hear they’ve destroyed your Vista. I know it’s such a crappy feeling knowing how much they cost. I had to replace the belly bar because the leather got destroyed along with the metal bar. Luckily the rest were minor scrapes on the metal frame but it still hurt my soul seeing my precious stroller all dinged up 😢 Luckily I called and explained what had happened and Uppababy was nice enough to replace it for free eventhough I used an Amazon travel bag. I just couldn’t justify paying $200 plus tax for a bag 😏.

It is normal to find some motion in any seat, bassinet, or car seat attached to the stroller. The reason for this is that the allowed motion creates additional shock absorption to provide a smoother ride for your child. If all of the parts of the stroller were connected with no motion allowed for, your child would feel every bump in the road."
