Very "subtle" Intellijel sticker on the Arturia Keystep. ;-) Oh, bye the way i have now the Atlantix paired with a Metropolix in my system and its fantastic so far. I would be happy to see some ideas from you to make some SH-101 similar patches (with one module).
Hello M4TT! 1tlantix + Sealegs is an extraordinary combo; 4tlantix + Sealegs remolecularizes. Question: P4TCH 10: Quadratt is modulating the mults here? Request: modulating 1tlantix in a small case scenario. TH4NKS!
Hi! 👋 In patch 10: DC offset from Output A is multed to filter frequency of each Atlantix. DC offset from Output B is multed to filter resonance of each Altantix - allowing you to control them all at once for a big filter sweep. Trying some small case scenarios sounds like a good idea!
We might do a quick tutorial on this. The CVx was set using the Intellijel Config App to 4 gate outputs and 4 pitch outputs. The important part is to assign all these outputs to the same global synth setup from the middle column of the app. To further explain: with CVx, you can control up to 10 individual synths. In the app, there's a middle column with a list of 10 'Synths' that you can apply global settings to - including midi channel, synth voicing, pitch range etc. If you pick any from 3-10, there's a drop down normally set to 'Monophonic'. Change this to 'Polyphonic'. You can also pick voicing allocation - 'Standard' or 'Round Robin' Then, on the very right hand column at the top, there are some quick settings to help you apply your poly settings faster. You need to first select 'Set all synths to...' and pick the synth you just configured (let's say Synth 3). Then, choose 'Quick Poly...' and pick the layout you like. For the most part in this video, we used '4 Gate/4 Pitch', but there are more options for less voices with more controls (eg velocity etc). This should apply a 4-voice poly setup to the outputs. This process can all be done manually or customized to your exact needs, but the quick options help set things fast. Hope this helps! This is also covered in the manual from pg 31: intellijel.com/downloads/manuals/midi-1u_manual_1.2_2023.10.15.pdf
Yea the MonoPoly in 4-note poly mode allows you to set each of the 4 oscillators to different waveforms/octaves/tuning/level .. not many synths can do this, and its very cool.
My friend and partner buys an Atlantix, I have one and I keep my old Atlantis as it was my most used module of the last 8 years. So makes 3 voices already.. 😊
This setup seems excessively complex for what is essentially a basic sound. You can achieve similar results with almost any analog poly synth, and it would be much easier to create patches as well. Don’t get me wrong-I love my Atlantis paired with the Rainmaker-but this particular approach just doesn’t resonate with me.
This was just for fun, not trying to do anything too serious here :) This was more akin to an Oberheim 4 Voice type setup which I personally think sounds lush and has a lot of character. For a basic poly sound,. this is most certainly overkill but once you really started tweaking each voice to be different, you get a lot more immediacy and hands on control than you would with any standard polysynth. The patches you saw were from a morning of jamming with it but we really just scratched the surface of what is possible; especially if we started incorporating some fx chains and additional modules. That is the beauty of modular IMHO.
@@intellijel I get where you’re coming from-while modular setups like that are fun and offer unmatched flexibility, the complexity and effort involved might not always feel worth it. Especially for just achieving basic poly sounds, it’s easy to see why something more straightforward might be preferable. Sure, you can scratch the surface with a jam and uncover cool stuff, but unless you’re looking to dive deep into the nuances, it might feel like more work than it’s worth. Sometimes the simplicity of a standard polysynth can be more practical for everyday use!
Aphex approved
This is simply fantastic. Four Atlantic modules as a four voice synth. Wonderful.
This is an SH-101 and modular fan's dream come true.
OMG, that is one hardware setup in that case! Just looking at it would be enough!
Bravo on these patches and this module 🤖
Incredible sounds!
This is incredible
reminds me of the Vermona Perfourmer
Dreadbox Telepathy Bundle as well.
or an Analog Four
or the Oberheim 4 voice..
Gorgeous sound

Sounds really pretty.
Excellent
Thanks for reminding me to make poly patches
lovely!
Slightly beyond my reach, but that’s a beautiful system!
I will totally do this when midi 1u gets updated to support MPE :)
Is that
I would like 4 Intellijel Atlantix modules
think I need to dig out my SH-01A again, - that does 4 note poly
Cool. Do more videos! ❤
just one Atlantix is already a monster. 4 is mindbending.
Vintage Digitakt 😍
Sounds incredible! And expensive 😂
Can 05:19 - Patch 7: 4 Decades be released to download?
This music should be released for listening
OMG , my head is going to explode
0:35. who makes that keyboard! It looks very useful. It says Intellijel, but I couldn't find it on your site
It is the Arturia Keystep but there is an intellijel sticker on it

@@intellijel thank you!! will try that on my 1tlantix - appreciate the notes. 👌
nice
What were the exact cv ex configs? I can't get the same polyphony result when i try. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

@@intellijel Thank you for replying! I had everything set except for having the expander set to the same synth. Thank you!
Darth MonoPoly 🫲😎👍

Quadrax shows up for a light show for patch 4. 😂
Well spotted! ;) We put it there in case we wanted some additional per voice LFOs but it did not get used in the patches shared here.
@@intellijel Thanks for these great videos.

Sure, let me just find an ATM. 😂
Tbh I would never use my modular for this kind of sound. I would suggest just buy a used analog four for 500€ or a Roland sh4😅
So you’re one of them monomods huh

God damn - My Vermona Perfourmer is sweating!
