It's pretty good app I used this has alot perks
You keep saying 'credit card' while it's a VISA debit card, very good one thou, have one too. Staking is moving toward fiat end of March. Earn feature is great and works like Savings bank account only with higher interest and you get it in the same crypto you deposit thus potentially going much higher in fiat value.
Very helpful 👍

Great video. One small issue to note though. You say CRO has no value, but that's not true. You show CRO's value right before that moment. It's value is that it's an exclusive token for access to the card's higher rewards classes.
Great vid! learning so much. what are your thoughts on Newton?
Newton id say is #2 behind shakepay imo. Lower fees. But not as reliable when it comes to moving money in and out. but very close.
Thank you homie but how do u compare it to newton exchange ?
This is great. But its really unfortunate that the majority of Canadians are not privy to the crypto and Defy world. I'm doing my best to change this.
Yeah man agreed I’m Canadian and not many people take about crypto obviously the USA is different story considering they are roughly 9 times the population ! The best thing of you want crypto to grow in Canada consistently post about crypto and the benefits of being part of the space over the course of 2021 I’ve sparked interest in 25-30 people if you want to connect reach out at Antoniodavid33 on IG
Darren,
I’m having issues with my bank connecting so have bought crypto with my MasterCard. Can I use a visa like the ones you’ve reviewed to take out profits. Like convert a coin profit into cro then load up the card with that value?
Yes that is the Idea, or one of the benefits.
Thanks for the vid Darren. Do I understand the process correctly? One must buy CRO with CAD. CRO gets staked. After 6 months, can the CRO be sold or swapped with no effect on the card? As in, to use the card long term, one doesn't have to have the CRO staked continuously, just for 6 months, and then you continue using the card normally even after getting rid of the CRO stake? Thank you.
Yes. But it might just be staking cash now. Need to make an updated video. But once you unstake you loose the benefits of the card. And go to the free version.
Solid
Etransfers work for me with td my friend didn't work for he has different bank I love the visa debit card I just apply mine.
@Darren so how does it work in regards to the stake, after the 6 months is up, you then can move that amount at it's current value into another coin, and keep getting the 3% back as well as the other benefits? It does that initial stake have to stay invested in CRO for the 'life' of the card?
For the card, everything I've read, used it's only 6 months then you can take it out and still get the Benefits of the card. However I have not cashed out yet, because staking gives you other benefits: like a cheaper exchange rate and higher Defi returns. If I was to pull out the initial stake I'd lose those. Still unsure what is best and if I'm 100% about losing the card benefits.
Thanks for the video! So if I understand correctly, the minimum wait time is 6 month + shipping time? I knew the fund is locked, but I was hoping to get the card as soon as possible and enjoy the benefits right away after the fund is locked.
Yes it's the wait time no matter what. I think it might be four months. Just when I ordered it was backlogged to Canada. Sucks, but best rewards program out off all of the crypto cards in Canada so far.
I ordered mine and it arrived today (about 1month)
Mine only took about a month
Hey man. I can’t connect my bank account. I’ve given them all my information but it doesn’t allow me any option to connect to BMO.
Not sure just trying to Etransfer or Wire?
Heey Darren , how does the Spotify and Netflix work, do they pay it to your wallet every month
You pay for it with your crypto credit card and get that cash back in CRO right away
Thank youuu
Don’t invest anything
I have a few questions that I might have missed from the video. What currency of that 2% cashback are we getting? After 6 months of staking can we retrieve what's left, will there be any penalties or deductions by doing that? And can you change to what currency that 2% goes to, like bitcoin instead of cro?
You get CRO token (thier company coin). Can be exchanged on thier platform for BTC, cash or pretty much any other coin. Yes you can achieve what is left wih no fees. But you loose the cashback features. Goes to the 1% features with no stake. Not without risk tho to stake. Still a blockchain controlled by 1 company that has 1 point of failure
Hello im totally new to all this crypto stuff but long story short but with this card, can you do bitcoin purchases online or like the visa card has its own wallet or is that all set up in the crypto exchange app?
No you will be spending dollars on this only. All cryptocurrency that you would send to the card is converted to cash in the account

Hey where does the money you make from selling go? Sold some doge and don’t know where those dollars went. Is there some sort of fiat walltet? Does it go to the app? Does it go to the credit card? Help would be highly appreciated.
You would have had to sold it to something else. maybe you sold to another cryptocurrency?

Hi Darren, I'm new to your site and have been having trouble with the CRYPTO.COM verification process. Can't get through the phone verification and no help on their site for it. My question, Crypto Visa cards can also be used as storage for crypto to earn, yes?
Strange I went through verification process long ago. Kind of the App can be used for storage and earning, but you need to load your credit card and once loaded it doesn't earn interest.
So after you make some money, can you withdrawal the cyrpto into a Canadian bank account right from the site?
Yes you'd need to sell the crypto to $CAD in the App then send your $CAD to your bank via Etransfer or Wire
@@dhoneysett Hey Darren do you still need to declare your capital gains when adding money to a VISA Crypto card? Because if your sending money to your bank by etransfer or to your bank directly you need to pay taxes right but what about the visa cards? Thanks a lot for the info in advance!

I've been eyeing for this card for a while but for the free plan that has 1% cashback, is there a wait period until I get the actual Visa Card?
Also, how easy and intuitive is the Crypto app and interface?
In addition, how do I load funds from a bank account into the card?
Hi Simon. For me I didn't receive the card until I was done the stake. The free one IDK when it comes in. The crypto.com interface is not easy there are lots of things in the app. Not the most user friendly. You can load funds via retransfer, wire or just use a debit or credit card.
Great video! Lots of info!
Can you pls clarify about taxes or how gains in cryptocurrency impact taxpayers if they do? By using this card, the info is being tracked?
Yes and yes. The gains you make on the crypt.com will be taxed. You should assume everything is always being tracked.

@@casualps4681 no. Taxes are only if you sell it at a profit for anything else
When you get cashback in CRO can you sell crow for CAD dollars and then load the visa card?
Yes you can, but you need to accumulate $100 of it before you can sell it for anything
How to do you manage or track taxes with this card when making payments using crypto?
and how do you convert crpyto to Canadian dollars?
Yes you can. Will just have to look at all transactions for 1 year and do the math!

Hi, just came across your video is TD canada allows you to fund the exchange , I would love a tutorial how to set up my td banking account and set it up with crypto. exchange , thanks , I m pretty green
Hi Carole, Crypto.com is tricky to fund the exchange into. Its hard to do a tutorial for without giving away a lot of my personal information. On the Crypto.com side you need to first fund the FIAT account within crypto.com. Do this Via Etransfer. I n the Etransfer Message you send, put the account number they provide you via Email. Then once its processed you can use it to fund the exchange and or visa card. It is not the most user friendly exchanges out there, hope that helped a little :)
Can you upgrade your card anytime or you need to finish the entire 180 stake first?
I think anytime
Yes you can, I did. You just need the required CRO amount. Love the cards :)

Can you withdraw with cash on an ATM?
Hi Darren,
The part of this video that doesn't work in my opinion, is your comment on CRO. What many fail to understand is that the token (be it CRO, TRX, XRP, etc) is like owning a share in the company. The value of the coin/token is reflective on how well used the business/product is. To that end, and to regard CRO as something not worth holding, is to say that you feel Crypto.com is not a viable company. To this I disagree. I think CRO will increase in value and it has since you made this video. As more adopt the product, demand on its token will raise its price. Last, to get 10% a.p.r. interest on your staked CRO to get the card, is a pretty decent return while you watch its value grow. Almost like receiving a dividend.
In short, I think CRO does have value as a longer term hold and believe Crypto.com has a bright future.
Yeah if you think that no problem. It's not really a share in the company. Those are regulated not like CRO where they can just print more as they go as there is no limit. I just want to make sure that you and everyone look at the CRO/BTC price all time and make a good decision.
Can you get a second card with your business name or alias on it?
I wanna know that also

Also, why would you want to ‘spend’ your crypto using a credit card rn when the price hasn’t skyrocketed yet in crypto?

Also , are you a stakeholder in shakepay?
Shakepay is better. Easier to use and 0 minimums to take bitcoin off the platform. If your just using as an excahnge.

@@Optimumhealthandfitness yeah I'd use Newton or Crypto.com for that. If you want to earn interest. I would get USDC or TCAD.
What are your thoughts on Crypto.com vs Shakepay?
Shakepay is far better. Even though the fees might be higher ease of use is way better. Shakepay does not have a transfer out fee and Etransfers are way easier to work with. If you just want Bitcoin or Eth. Shakepay is the way.
Can you recommend the best place to start

Do you have to pay Canadian capital gains when using the card?
Technically yes if you sell the rewards for anything else.

brought so many investors down, you need
some one with the knowledge and
strategies, someone dedicated to the
crypto currency market buisness, and I will
strongly recommend expert Mrs Tessy
Are there any taxes to worry about in Canada when "loading" the credit card?
Only if you load with a cryptocurrency. Then yes. Everytime you spend that crypto, if you had a gain on it from the time you bought it till now: it will be taxed. Canadian dollars or stablecoins will not be.
@@googleuser2666 hi! Thanks for Subscribing! Yes I might be able to do a video like that. It is pretty confusing. You want to go into the app and select your fiat wallet > Fund > e-transfer. Then you send an e-transfer with the details they provide you. Once your fund is in your fiat wallet (in the app) you need to transfer it on to your card. Its $500 for the stake and I believe $10,000 is the max you can have on it but not 100% sure. Hope that helps!

This looks to be the best way for Canadians to pay for cryptocurrency on other sites as I've checked multiple banks in Canada to be able to pay for cryptocurrency and none of them allow you to do so. So this is the alternative that I've been looking for. Thanks.
Now the one thing I don't understand when it comes to depositing cryptocurrency is that why is it that only certain cryptos are allowed to be deposited? As the one that I want to purchase and deposit is PIRATE CHAIN (ARRR). Since crypto is digital, then any & all cryptos that arrive in the market should automatically be approved for use to deposit or do whatever you wish, correct?
Yes as long as you have a wallet that supports it that is the key.
Does this help build ur credit score too?
No any prepaid card doesn't build a credit score
Does crypto have KYC? And do you have to file taxes on it?
Yes and yes. Self reported tax if gains if so.
So will you be audited if you don’t report any of your crypto via crypto.com even if you had any gains or not. And also how would it work if you are transferring coins from wallet to wallet, technically the transfer doesn’t show what gains you had from the coin right?
Do you know if I can use the crypto card to receive a refund from a store if I return an item?
Hhmm think it would be upto the store to refund your visa card. But don't think you could dispute a payment like with a normal credit card because it is a prepaid one, nor do they have support.
@@dhoneysett the store accepted it and said payment refund went through on their end but don’t see it in my crypto card. Not sure if there’s a waiting grace time or they don’t accept it and gets bounced, tried to find forums online but can’t seem to find anything. Thanks for your comment

@@CrxAwd yes a small one. I'm gonna make another soon.
What about taxes. Everytime using this card, you would have to declare capital gains on the crypto being used. Is 2% really worth it?
No that is only if you sell, trade or spend the reward of CRO. You can only do this when you accumulate $100 worth of CRO . That would be about $5000 of spending of CRO was to stay the same price during this duration. So unless you're spending $5000 weekly and trading out your rewards each week. It won't be two hard to calculate those transactions when tax time comes.

@@dhoneysett yeah that’s good. Here’s a question for you, becsuse binance left Ontario since they don’t wanna play by the rules, does this crypto.com platform play by the rules ? Are they considered a Canadian friendly safe platform to be using ? Also is there another way around to get your account funded since they use ridiculously long e transfer ?
@@synthdude7664 yeah they are registered in Canada and follow the rules, but riske they could leave cause they do offer Defi, unregulated altcoins and Lending. So I would say it's a risk long term. You could wire transfer but that would take a while. E-transfer has been fast for me with crypto.com lately
@@dhoneysettwhat would happen if they needed to leave? Would we lose our account or have it locked ?
@@synthdude7664 let's use binance cause that is what they are doing. They warn you a couple months a head of time. Or you have to follow new rules/sign up to get your coins out. But crypto.com follows all the rules so it would be a much smoother transition out. I would suspect some notice would be given.
Can we buy Crypto.com directly through debit or credit card.
Yes as long as your bank's don't block it.
@@dhoneysett hello mate
