Okay I play ivankov so will give some pointers, don’t purposely empty your hand without any plays just because your leader says 0 doesn’t mean you need to be, try to use inazuma as additional value you don’t wanna have to go to 0 zero cards in hand if your hand is useful, next swing low body’s first then bigger body’s after means they have to use more counter making your bigger swings harder to hit, hit characters before you hit life same principle it gives them less to work with. Hopefully this helps as I know your learning in op07 I took this deck 3-1 several times in a 30+ locals only losing to lucci😂😅
I have been summoned! So I’ve been playing the deck since Set 2. So, what I noticed ivankov players haven’t been using in their decks yet which helps with the game-plan is the 4 cost luffy which allows you to discard 2 cards and your opponent bottom decks a card. Not only does it help get rid of bricks in hand but it’s very aggressive mid to late game. Clear their board and play 2 in a singular turn. A redroc on legs that can swing the following turn. Run the 1 cost blue nami as well which works as a 2k and helps get rid of 3 cost and smaller blockers for 1 don. It helps push for game. I would also advise removing the perona since stacking your deck with this isn’t really the game plan much anymore. Unless you’re running Sanji. Most likely you’ll have the cards you need in hand with how much drawing you’ll do. Next I’d suggest trying three thousand worlds and boa 6 drop. It helps remove a body and freezes on a 10 don turn which slows them down Plus the boa can work with the luffy in case they have a 1 cost on the board that way they don’t bottom decks it with luffys effect. I would remove the stage for more counter power as well. Possibly try the 10 cost kaido to help bounce late game too.
I'm guessing it's under represented because it's a promo from the dark times where product was impossible to come by. Premium booster made it readily available, but like... who's even brewing Iva-Chan right now?
Hey There, i have been playing Iva too, since EB-01... I would really like to try the above suggestions, maybe it will help with the current meta. I have been expirementing with Warlords etc lately, also decklists similar to the one in the video. Personally, i feel like Iva is a deck with great potential, but has too many bad matchups in the meta... Lucci, Shanks, Boney, Enel, Doffy, Blackbeard... Everything else is okay and winnable... Dunno what's your opinion on the meta in general? (The OP-08 was a fine meta, since op-08.5 it got way harder)
So I actually think the deck is better without stage right now. It slows down your gameplan on top of being a brick. Try instead using Namule and P-055 Luffy, they can filter and reduce your hand while also providing more utility. I would cut some GBs, I find that 2 is usually more than enough. 1c promo Nami is also pretty good in this deck as an additional 2k with also some niche utility
Hey so I didn't know they were a They/Them - Is there a direct confirmation of this? I know based on Ivankov's powers that genders can be switched and in their more curvy form where they are women and their current form portrayed in my thumbnail and in the arts is their masculine version which is why I referred to them as "he" Is there a statement from Oda or somewhere official I'm missing? Because I'm happy to change my verbiage, its just not the information i was given based on my knowledge of the anime!
Ok, so Ivankov is referred to as she when their power is used as you said, meaning sometimes he is a she meaning they are they, I guess I can agree that their gender is specific based on their form but Queen is not the term used for a male leader and Queen Iva is used in the anime

Could you post a list? (Even from the sim is fine)

I was testing cross guild engine mix into this, I think eb02 will need to kick it up again
How does 2 stage feel, i always say it as a mandatory 4 of but i might be wrong.
Referring to Ivankov as him instead of them is crazy

@@MoreThatMillGuy-wu9lfIvankov says you can call him whatever you want in the anime
@@MoreThatMillGuy-wu9lfMe personally, I call him a guy since that's the gender he is most of the time
Ivankov is a male. Only his power switches him to a female. Also, Ivankov is referred to as "He" in the manga and in the anime.
