This episode reminded me of early Hot Ones in the best way. Don’t get me wrong, it’s been awesome to see this show reach the mainstream and land some of the world’s biggest celebrities, but it’s dope to have a RUclipsr/independent content creator in the mix every once in a while too.
Real, authentic, intelligent human beings resonate so much more clearly then celebrities. Andrew nailed it. Either bring him back or find more like him, please.
I think it’s important to remember that this is a market now. He brings in tons of revenue from adverts and views. That being said he interviews celebrities and prominent figures. Real authentic human beings can also be celebrities. Genuine people are everywhere. But going from Chloe Kardashian to Andrew Callahan is awesome for diversity and increases the demographic of his channel

If some of you have not yet seen anything from All Gas No Brakes or Channel 5, I highly recommend you do. Andrew's response to the question asked at 12:13 is probably the most eloquent and accurate observation on the current state of media/news ive heard in a while and its one thats gained from an objective and accurate view of america because of the way hes travelled around and tried to see things from different peoples perspectives.
Its too both sidesy. I hate CNN / MSNBC, they are trash, but there is no such thing as center right media anymore. It may represent the current right accurately, but it is dangerous fascist propaganda. Agreed. With the celebrities, I feel like they have to watch what they say in order to avoid ANY controversies, but with guests like Andrew it feels really genuine and down to earth. It makes it easier to watch seeing them both just be basically chilling

I'll be honest - 32 years old, busy Dad... had very little idea of who this guy was looking at the name (...yea.. im out of touch lol). I am a fan. Extremely genuine dude. This is actually one of my favorite episodes of Hot Ones. I'll put it right up there with Gordon Ramsey (just my opinion). As always - stellar interview.
I’m a busy dad of the same age as well and Andrew is the only reason I even check RUclips and even bought his merch. Check his old stuff in all gas no breaks. All his stuff is amazing.
His coverage of the black lives matter riots was pretty groundbreaking actually. You never know what you're gonna get on all gas no breaks or channel 5 news. Sometimes it's spring break in Miami, and sometimes it's a literal war zone. Highly recommend following his work.

His interview adventure videos are by far the best there is on youtube, the guy is an artist that will eventually become a legend in the industry with the direction he is going. He shines a unique light on everything he does and really gets people to open up completely to him.
Andrew is probably more than any other content creator on the internet a chill down to earth guy. He seems to just click with anyone and never struggles with knowing when to take a backseat in a convo or when to get the ball rolling in one either.
He’s actually incredible, his humility, his tact he’s so intelligent and curious and yet disarming and present. A gift to the world in showing how to be in it.

From the get go, Was a big fan of All Gas no Brakes in its entirety. I really gained a ton more respect for Andrew when he came to Portland, Oregon in the midst of all of the protests involving BLM and that stuff. He went into Portland and gave us all real reporting and true non narrative driven interviews with real people. Really opened my eyes to how predatory big media is. This guy is the real deal. Great interview !

This had to have been a personal request by someone on the Hot Ones team to have him on. Andrew Callaghan is a legend among legends among the internet denizens who are at least a little engaged, but he's now among the Hollywood elites even if they wouldn't recognize who he is.
This is the epitome of an hot ones interview. Bewilderment, hysteria, amusement, Interesting guests, with well thought out questions from Sean. I loved this episode.
He is soooo down to earth. No filters. And, he's is very intelligent for his age and really shows he has a great ability to duplicate anything, so he can communicate with anything or anyone.
I've been waiting for Andrew to come on for so long. In a time where everything is labeled amazing and "genius", he really found a way to stand out and become sort of a revolutionary. I treat him almost like a news source at this point lol

I truly believe Andrew is the realest journalist we have right now. American Louis Theroux of the new generation. He’s bringing us coverage of super important events from the trenches, and giving a voice to a variety of people.

A good interviewer (Sean) knows better than to ask about AGNB. They basically did a hostile corporate takeover on Andrew’s company and they don’t deserve a second of free press.

People think a specific way of them not because they saw it ok the news, but what other people thought about their choices. Rumors are created and more. Its not always the media. The media are people and the people are the masses. This isn't to say the media isn't responsible for false Information but the people are also responsible for following it blindly. People see echo chambers of like minds and safe spaces. This is one of world's biggest issues. Social Media and the internet created bubbles of safe spaces for everyone. The good, the bad, and more. It amazes me time and time again how wrong people are when it comes to explaining situations or political opinions. And even when proven wrong they stand adamant their info is correct. It's a cultural bias that has been created which poisons the well. I should add that the Truth itself has become a blurred line. Obscured through propaganda that best suited a specific narrative or agenda.

vice does good work and actually goes in-depth on a topic. channel 5 is more like a sideshow - a very entertaining one, but it's broader than it is deep
It's cool seeing big A list celebrities and actors on this showing how much the show has grown, but this feels genuine and how Hot Ones used to get more little names, not saying Andrew is little by any means just compared to names such as Matt Damon and Leonardo DiCaprio. Just genuine web celebs and littler names. Feeling a bit nostalgic
I hope the people that don't know him will get to know Channel 5's work because this man's journalism is incredible. Dude even flew all the way to Ukraine in the middle of the freaking war to cover what's happening.

Yeah plus this guy really really likes the status quo media friendly ideas. No he's not one of the only true ground journalists there are thousands of them it's just that you don't hear about them because they're not promoted like this guy is even though I love Andrew.
It's really satisfying to hear that Andrew really cares about just hearing people out and not creating a narrative. That's what makes him awesome. His videos don't have a slant other than to be kinda funny. Respect.

I think there's times he hints towards agreeing or disagreeing with something, but for the most part I do think his interviews are very neutral.

I’m a busy dad of the same age as well and Andrew is the only reason I even check RUclips and even bought his merch. Check his old stuff in all gas no breaks. All his stuff is amazing.
His coverage of the black lives matter riots was pretty groundbreaking actually. You never know what you're gonna get on all gas no breaks or channel 5 news. Sometimes it's spring break in Miami, and sometimes it's a literal war zone. Highly recommend following his work.

Please do yourself a huge favor and subscribe to his channel on youtube, channel 5. His interview adventure videos are by far the best there is on youtube, the guy is an artist that will eventually become a legend in the industry with the direction he is going. He shines a unique light on everything he does and really gets people to open up completely to him.
Andrew is probably more than any other content creator on the internet a chill down to earth guy. He seems to just click with anyone and never struggles with knowing when to take a backseat in a convo or when to get the ball rolling in one either.
He’s actually incredible, his humility, his tact he’s so intelligent and curious and yet disarming and present. A gift to the world in showing how to be in it.

From the get go, Was a big fan of All Gas no Brakes in its entirety. I really gained a ton more respect for Andrew when he came to Portland, Oregon in the midst of all of the protests involving BLM and that stuff. He went into Portland and gave us all real reporting and true non narrative driven interviews with real people. Really opened my eyes to how predatory big media is. This guy is the real deal. Great interview !

I've seen lots of their recent guests in movies but like idgaf about their thoughts IRL, with internet personalities you get a better sense of who they are and it makes me interested to hear about what they have to say. A good interviewer (Sean) knows better than to ask about AGNB. They basically did a hostile corporate takeover on Andrew’s company and they don’t deserve a second of free press.
This is why I like Andrew so much. Hes very open minded and gives his interviewer's respect. He wants to understand them to their core. Not the image thats painted through the opinions of the masses.

People think a specific way of them not because they saw it ok the news, but what other people thought about their choices. Rumors are created and more. Its not always the media. The media are people and the people are the masses.
This isn't to say the media isn't responsible for false Information but the people are also responsible for following it blindly.
People see echo chambers of like minds and safe spaces. This is one of world's biggest issues. Social Media and the internet created bubbles of safe spaces for everyone. The good, the bad, and more.
It amazes me time and time again how wrong people are when it comes to explaining situations or political opinions. And even when proven wrong they stand adamant their info is correct. It's a cultural bias that has been created which poisons the well.
I should add that the Truth itself has become a blurred line. Obscured through propaganda that best suited a specific narrative or agenda.

vice does good work and actually goes in-depth on a topic. channel 5 is more like a sideshow - a very entertaining one, but it's broader than it is deep
Andrew is seriously about to sky-rocket in to stardom when his movie with Tim & Eric drops.
It's cool seeing big A list celebrities and actors on this showing how much the show has grown, but this feels genuine and how Hot Ones used to get more little names, not saying Andrew is little by any means just compared to names such as Matt Damon and Leonardo DiCaprio. Just genuine web celebs and littler names. Feeling a bit nostalgic
