  • This is a guide to help you understand how parking sensors are fit.
You can also use this as a guide if you want to do a bit of DIY to your own car.
I have tried to make it as simple and easy to understand as possible. I would appreciate any feedback.
Please watch to the end and hopefully you will find it helps you fit your own system.
    Thanks for watching!

Thank for a brilliant method ( not having to remove the bumper) . Had bought the bits just waiting for better weather.
Btw, I would have chosen colour matching sensors.

Used this method today (July 2020) on my wife's "new" car. Worked brilliantly. Many thanks

Thank you very much. I was struggling to find a way to get the cables of the sensors into the car. Left rear lamp is the best point as you did.

Thanks for this detailed guide. I only had one problem which is the bumper is pretty thick, so I had to cut the the 4 rubber things on the sides of each sensor to make them fit all the way in.

    Thanks for making this video.
If this is any help to any one, this video is also applicable for a 2007 Corsa D. Same colour wires to cut. Also, a quick way of testing the sensors before putting them in car is to test using a 9v square battery, works a treat.

Where did you buy your voltage tester from? Is it a DC only one or is it AC/DC. Also, what's the minimum voltage it can measure. Cheers! Great video btw

Is it possible to have distroy the brain if I have not connected the ground black cable properly before turning on the engine?

You may short circuit the cable and cause some damage, or you may just blow a fuse. Always connect it properly and test before turning on the ignition/engine. If in doubt, get help.
