Update 14/4/21: Since making this video I have found a free software called Shutter Encoder which is easier to use to convert your webm files, you can find it here: www.shutterencoder.com. Just use the following settings: "VP9" function then in "Advanced features" check "Enable alpha".
Have a couple of questions for you. What do you use to convert to webm? I usually use Movavi, but it did not maintain the transparency around my transition. Also, is there any way to make the darker colors even darker? For some reason, when I used the stinger in OBS, it the black portion was incredibly dull looking and almost grey. It looked fine in Resolve though!
I have a script for converting webm. If you are having issues with the transparency you can also use the filters in OBS such as Luma Key which will be able to remove any background that remains. I would imagine that your stinger may be effected if you went a little too heavy on the clipping in Resolve resulting in the dull colour. You can use the colour tab in resolve to drop the blacks down or you could boost the colours with filters in OBS too! Hope this helps!
