    This is what makes Poker different from other games/sports that require skills. Luck plays a big part in Poker maybe about 50% or more. In other games like Chess an amateur could never beat a GM not even once in hundres of games or even if they play blindfolded or simul. In poker a pro can be defeated by amateurs

    • @AcesFullPoker
      @AcesFullPoker  12 дней назад

      And thats what makes the game so so appealing. That blend of ability where anyone can walk away happy from getting lucky in a tournament, but then the pros will always have recreational players to try and make a living off.

    • @edwardharrell46

    I didn’t need to watch the entire video I’ve seen things like this…
    I used to play at a charity house, it wasn’t a bad game or tournaments even better then some of the games at the casino
    They had this Sunday $100 dollar tournament every week the payout wasn’t bad at all, of course everyone knew everyone and there was this one guy who wasn’t great at poker just did it for fun… I was playing deep in the tournament and noticed the happy go lucky guy still there and thought wow he’s running good..
    With like 15 people left we were at the same table and I got dealt AA and raised he re raised I jammed and he called me so fast and so confident I thought he has to have the other 2 AA or at least KK, dude called me with pocket 6’s and smashed a 6 on the flop…
    I smiled and left, played the next week and was told he won the tournament when he made final table he just ran over everyone… I also learned it was his birthday that day
    What’s the point of this long useless story… Some times you can just run like a god and the best players or even professionals won’t be able to beat you

    • @AcesFullPoker
      @AcesFullPoker  12 дней назад

    Looks good on those Arrogant Pros that only have 10% of themself. This goes to show, if you play half decent, anyone can win.

    • @Unrealnezz
      @Unrealnezz 12 дней назад

      but he didnt play half decent. Many times he was a massive underdog and got outplayed. Just luck prevented him from busting early. Misleading title.

    • @AcesFullPoker
      @AcesFullPoker  12 дней назад

      All tournament winners will be behind at some point on the flop or turn and hoping for a card that puts them ahead. Whether Gambledore is doing it with 72s or a poker pro is doing it with JTs and chasing a draw, the percentages dont really change so yes luck prevented him busting and any other day he is not getting anywhere near as far, but to say he didnt outplay them Im not so sure
