I've learned a lot from your videos which are done very well. My personal opinion on this one is all them widgets just clutter the screen, though they do offer functionality I guess. I prefer a minimalistic approach while using the edge panel to quick launch an app. Keep up the good work, I really enjoy your videos!
A step up from the edge panel is to use the pop-up widget from one-hand operations plus module of good lock app. It gives you a big page to store widgets instead of a narrow strip

What a great explanation that answered all my questions about getting control of my homescreen.
I do actually have a question if curiosity... Of the x number of pages someone uses, what do you think of the practice of having the "middle" page being the main homescreen? So if the phone has 5 "pages" page #3 would be the home one. I am trying to think of the reason or benefit of that... maybe designating pages to the left of the homescreen be more fun type widgets and pages to the right be more for office type of widgets?
OK... here's actually another that came to mind after seeing your vid: is it possible to change the background photo of each separate page? As an example, cats on one page and dogs horses etc. each on separate pages?

Hey Charlie, I’m looking at getting a multi split AC for 2 rooms and was wondering what brands you’d recommend. I’m thinking about LG but am not certain if I’m better of with Mitsubishi or Toshiba
Mitsubishi makes excellent multi split ACs, but you should go with the brand that provides you with the best after sales services, for us its LG.

Thank you, Agim 😊 And these are all the stock Samsung widgets that come pre-installed with the phone, so these have no effect on the battery life.

Great video. A LOT to follow. A couple of times I did not understand what widget you were pronouncing and it was too small to see. Perhaps some text or captions would help. Also an intro to the subject of Samsung home screens would help. I still don't know how to move app icons around or how to place a fav website on one of my screens. Start with the defaults on a new phone. What is the default home screen and why would you want so many. To a novice this is very confusing.

Hey! Great video, one problem, the widgets colors are diffrent. For example the calendar widget is completely black, but the digital wellbeing widget is grey. Is there a way to change this?

Aye! Noted, a lot of people have been asking about the keyboard, might make a video about it! Its Microsoft SwiftKey Keyboard though, try it out, its pretty cool.

And by that I mean, how did you make yours look like a 3 or 3 rows and no navigation bar gap between the bottom phone bezel to the keyboard. Hi Charlie. I had a screen as my home screen . Now when I click to home button, another screen is my home screen. How to get back?
Hey Ron, you will need to set your default home screen. So go to the home screen you want to see when you tap the home button, then long press until you see different options, on top you will see the home button, select that and then the home screen you've selected will become the default home screen.

Its literally the exact same thing, the only thing that is new in One UI 4.1 is Smart Widgets, it just allows you to combine more than 1 widget into a single one.

Is there a way I can get those widgets on s9?
I think the S9+ has almost the exact same set of widgets except the digital wellbeing one, it looks a little different, but functionality is the same.
When installing widgets, I lost my edge panels. Should that have happened?
Panels worked with swiping also. Hope I can get help on this, thanks
Adding widgets should not affect the edge panels 🤔 I'm wondering if that's some bug, were you able to sort it out?

I was not able to solve it. The only thing I can think of is that the widgets use the same swip as the edge screen and the phone has to choose 1.
