I can count on one hand, maybe a total of 3 times in all these years but I had to comment on this amazing resource. I have been an iPhone user for the last 7 or so years. I recently took a leap of faith and grabbed the Samsung fold 5, and I've been in love ever since. I'm still an iPhone user since I have two lines, the fold 5 is used for my business line due to its multitasking capabilities. But just so we're clear, I rarely use my iPhone these days haha. I've had my S22 Ultra since it's release date & it's just getting better with time.. I've never messed with Good Lock & most of its features & it has a ton! Coming from Apple, this is what I love about Samsung! You can own a Samsung for years & never learn everything it has to offer but I am grabbing the best S24 Ultra a bit after it's release to make sure it has no bugs & keeping this S22 Ultra. Hopefully it comes with 16g RAM with the 1gig unit for the States🤟
@@PSYCHOV3N0M also is stupid for phone to have 16 gigs, i have S23 ultra with 8gigs and work perfectly fines, 8 gigs ram for phone is perfectly balanced like 16 gigs for gaming PC... yea you can have double more, but in reality you take only 3 - 5% better results because is just over kill, processor ,GPU and fast storage is much more important then Ram memory for phone..

I've had goodlock since my s23u, now got a s24u and I never knew that you could change the shortcuts bar in lockstar like shown at 1:20. Such an amazing feature. I love it. Edit: typed this comment during the vid and before the widgets point. I have the battery widget on my home screen (for aesthetic purpose mostly) but having it on lock screen is genius to quickly check battery levels of wireless earbuds or a wireless mic. I have the spotify widget there, but the battery one is genius. If Samsung ever makes widget stack on lock screen a thing, spotify+battery is the dream.
You really are making samsung far more appealing than Apple i am counting down the days to getting my samsung just wish maybe you could do more videos as your far more fun and informative than most you make tech fun.
I've been using good lock for over a year or so. I've created my own themes, keyboads, icons and notifications panel. Changes the design if my phone. I can't do without this app
While I don't want to do this myself (which is part of why I have an iPhone), I think the amount of opportunities you have with Good Lock is so interesting. It reminds me of MIUI a little bit or even EmotionUI.
I love that KWGT works on the always on display, so much better than the stock clock styles! Though the clock itself needs to be on the screen in order to actually place a widget so now I have 2 clock displays on my aod

Wow, I've been sleeping on this for so long. I've been a long time Samsung hater. I've owned several Samsung phones, I never had one Samsung phone that I look back on fondly. My last Samsung phone was the Galaxy S7, which I promptly returned within 3 days. But these customization options reminds me of what I used to do back when I used to root and install custom ROMs to get these kinds of options, which Samsung would try their hardest to make it extremely difficult to root the device. Now, it seems like I might not need to with all this stuff. I think my next phone just might be a Samsung, switching from OnePlus.
Awesome tips on how to customize the phone. I do want to point out that you can't use the moving wallpaper and lockscreen effect at the same time. When you pick one, it overrides the other. The cool lockscreen effect was more fun that the parallax and particle wallpaper so I went with that, but wish you could do both.
@@Navelpoint-wf1000 a task bar is (from my knowledge) a bar at any side of the screen (never used a fold, but i would assume the taskbar is similar to that of a computer taskbar) which shows all the running apps (similar to the menu button that shows the open apps) (i think) (i dont know)
I was about to make the biggest mistake and let my S24 Ultra go for a Pixel 9 Pro....thank god for this video. I didn't realize I possessed such an amazing phone.

Great for Samsung users in the US who dont have access to root or custom roms. It's basically like a root app without root. If that makes sense. You can customize things from the ground up. It's very convenient for US and Canada Snapdragon users.
I told myself if I go to android, Samsung will be my only choice. I just love the fact that you can make your phone your own smh after all these years you would think Apple would’ve made this an option without downloading apps to customize your phone. I have the iPhone 14 Pro Max and I’m tired of it and I haven’t even had it for a year now. Definitely moving forward with Samsung in Feb.

I know good look for a long time, but i didn't knew that: 1) pressing in the wallpaper to add widgets to the lock screen worked 2) pressing the 2 shortcuts in the lockscreen edit to add that toolbar 3) you could scroll in sound assistant to have more options(how did i never tried that before?)

I didnt find it useful. I installed for bigger icons while aod. But, it cant do that. Only on lock screen which i dont use it.

Great for Samsung users in the US who dont have access to root or custom roms. It's basically like a root app without root. If that makes sense. You can customize things from the ground up. It's very convenient for US and Canada Snapdragon users.

I told myself if I go to android, Samsung will be my only choice. I just love the fact that you can make your phone your own smh after all these years you would think Apple would’ve made this an option without downloading apps to customize your phone. I have the iPhone 14 Pro Max and I’m tired of it and I haven’t even had it for a year now. Definitely moving forward with Samsung in Feb.

I know good look for a long time, but i didn't knew that:
1) pressing in the wallpaper to add widgets to the lock screen worked
2) pressing the 2 shortcuts in the lockscreen edit to add that toolbar
3) you could scroll in sound assistant to have more options(how did i never tried that before?)

Goodlock is such a game changer. It's like putting XDA in your phone without having to do any of the work LOL. It's also the reason why I'm staying with Samsung
