@melbjovi09 wow!!! unfortunately Dio didn't Play my country then & was a a bit too young to afford to travel to see him even if I wanted to. BTW I Have visited Melbourne since then & it's a good city & hopefully will get back there sometime

I had no doubts that this attitude was appreciated in Japan, a land still very much linked to him where the memory is alive and coincidentally, it is the only nation where you can still find the single of stars (in London in the record shops in Notting Hill they didn't know what I was talking about).

Always amazed me how such a small guy can have the vocals that Dio has .
He used to play the trumpet. That's why.
As a singer I can just say Dio had a perfect technique and of course a lot of natural talent. He can be placed in-line with great names of any genre.
