DA Mask was my first dive into the world of NFA back in 2017. I've ran it on a variety of hosts, both pistol and rifle, in 22LR, 22WMR, 17HMR, and 5.7×28. Outstanding across the board! I have ~4k rounds through it so far and it hasn't lost its charm yet.
I’m terrible about cleaning my cans. I generally just scrub out the baffles with some solvent and an old toothbrush. I could make a video of it if enough folks wanted to see it 🤔
I have this suppressor as well. It’s awesome. Works great on my Beretta 21A Bobcat w/threaded barrel, as well as my Ruger Mark IV. Regular Federal 40 gr stuff is quiet since the barrels are short enough to keep it subsonic. This suppressor also works well on my S&W M&P15-22 pistol w/Aguila 60 gr subsonic rounds. No keyholing, only hear the action cycling. A video on cleaning those baffles would helpful since it gets very dirty and takes forever to clean with solvent and a brush. once again enjoy your videos, I have the Deadair Wolfman on my 300 Blk out and looking to suppress my G44 22lr, in your trusted opinion which way would lean, the Deadair Mask or the Silencerco Sparrow, they are very close in specs so it will come down to what I want to spend but would like an expert opinion, thanks for you time and keep up the great videos
Thank man, and I’m glad you’re getting something from these videos. I don’t have the Sparrow but it’s been on my wish list over since I first at saw it as a teenager, just never picked one up. I do have three Masks though… the think that the Mask would win at,in my opinion, is its overbuilt design. That can will outlast your grandkids. If you are a heavy shooter and even want to shoot lots of 5.7 then I think the Mask would be the way to go. In the other hand. If you simply want a quality can and aren’t worried about running it over with your truck, then I would think the Sparrow would be a perfectly good choice.
Yeah man this was my 1st rimfire suppressor and I shoot it on 17 wsm along with 22lr a bunch and it's amazing... Oddly enough this is the only 22lr suppressor I've ever used. All my buddies tried mine and that's what they bought also so I don't have anything else to compare it to but I've never seen a bad review and everyone always says it's an awesome can.
I have one and love it! I shoot cci quiet 875 ft per second. Runs flawlessly on a semi auto. I also have a bunch of mini mags I’ve been shooting still quiet although the CCI 875 per second has me looking everywhere to buy some.
Got one on the way but she got caught up in the nfa jail. She been doing her time there with the atf for 6 months now...when she gets released for good behavior, got a P322 and Ruger Precision Rimfire that I bet she's gonna enjoy meeting. 😢
@carbonfibercrypto2919 I have the JKArmament 22 can and I run it full length. Modular is fun but I end up wanting the most suppression and run them full length.
My review of the Griffin Armament Checkmate HD is dropping tomorrow. Not sure how helpful it’ll be in choosing a new 22 can but perhaps it’ll show you some more options 🤷♂️🤔
How much better does it sound then a ghost on 22 I decided to get it as my second can over a ghost I thought hard about going ghost as my second can to use on other stuff but decided on the mask instead

The Mask is a great can. Had it been available when I got my Sico Sparrow, then it would have been my first .22 can. The other strong contender is the Nyx Mod2 from Energetic Armament.
Dude, I remember seeing the sparrow in gun magazines growing up. It always looked pretty dang cool. And honestly, I’ll bet the Sparrow and Mask would sound pretty close if shot side by side 🤷♂️
@@CalebDowning Having shot them both side by side the Mask is better with no discernable frp. The mask is newer and uses more modern baffle tech, so it should be expected. With that said, I don't have any regerts from buying the sparrow. It's been a great performer on all hosts including 5.7x28.
@@rickeywest142 that is what they said the average turn around time is here. When they first went electronic the turn around time was 2-3 months. Now that so many people are buying items we think are going to be banned, it’s up around the 7 month mark. At least it isn’t the 1 year it used to be.

Very good experience with this silencer. CLR cleans the internals great with a cheap sonicator.

It’s hard to go wrong with the Mask. That thing is a beast. A little heavy, but it’ll last several lifetimes.

I use my Mask on a CZ 527 in17 hornet as well with no issues. It does a great job suppressing the 17 hornet.
