Much Love to you Mike, you and your family. Thank you for mentoring me. I hope to add some more videos once the weather breaks. I intend on retrieving last Halloweens haunted hay ride here at RUL. I was the chainsaw man, imagine how much fun I had! Thank you for all of your support Mike.
I sprinted, ran, jogged, walked, shadow boxed, basic exercise like pushups, lunges etc. Ive ran in the cold prior, many times. There is an effect the cold has that is indescribable on your lungs. I found my wind after about five minutes and didn't loose it the whole time. The main issue I had was when after I had my "cool down", walking or jogging and hands in the air, my ankles and knees felt like stretching rubber bands to get them moving again. I definitely wont stop the next time I take a winter run. Lesson learned lol. I was able to be exposed for around an hour. Within comfort levels, I decided I had went far enough to have enough stamina to run back. The other option was running through the woods. I would have only been about a quarter mile from the finish line. Risk vs reward. It was un-plowed and my feet were already wet . I turned around at the spot I thought was about 3/4 the whole loop. Sweat was freezing on my face. I was proud of myself. I love running, it has been difficult for me to run in the recent past years. It was nice to set a goal, and exceed it. My only regret is I couldn't record it. Mainly for my own observation. I would love to watch what I did and improve. Thank you all. Much Love.
Now that I've looked back, before commenting, I know I should have made the decision to run through the woods. Wouldn't have been an issue in my mind if I put on proper foot wear. I made up my mind approaching the woods that it was an option to run through, but decided the later was the smart decision.
nice place Danny
