16 yrs old and already the best Jazz singer on the planet. Who else could reinvent this song and deliver it as a new Jazz Classic. She is bringing back and introducing Jazz in a newer fresher way to a popped out culture drowning in a lack of appreciation of music history especially the contribution of Jazz history. Motown is another genre she is bringing back with the love and respect it deserves and that is just scratching the surface of what this phenom is bringing to the industry. I believe she will equal if not surpass any and all of the greatest Icons of all time. Think Elvis, Etta James, Queen, Amy Winehouse, Michael Jackson, Madonna.... I lean towards surpassing them but that's my opinion.

People throw around the word “genius” to describe a lot of stuff that isn’t genius. This song shows us that Angelina is a musical genius. She doesn’t stay within the musical lines that everyone else uses. She does it over and over-taking an iconic song you think can’t and shouldn’t be touched and giving us a completely new way to love it. And somehow, this totally different approach here still pays respect to MJ. I don’t think MJ got it wrong, but I can listen to Angelina all day, everyday. Tell me any other singer who would even think about covering this, let alone arranging it. Not possible.
We are so lucky to be around for a once in a lifetime musical genius who just happens to have the best voice I’ve ever heard.
You're absolutely correct as she makes so many songs not just her own yet seems to change them to how maybe they should have been performed originally. My belief is she just listens to music then just gives the song the emotion she feels and there is how the 🔥 happens.

Vibe, Angelina covers are beyond anything any other vocalist I’ve heard covering the same songs. Her arrangements are a literal reinventions and recreations of the original songs, yet she always pays homage and respect to the original singer’s performances.
Angelina was endowed with highly developed intuition, instincts, intellect and empathy. She also as an acute sensitivity to know and understand how to interpret the lyrics as the writer intended them to be. Angelina has fearlessly created arrangements to some of the most famous and iconic songs ever written. More often than not I prefer to listen to Angelina’s arrangements and performances than the original song. When this exceptionally gifted angel covers a song she sprinkles her angel dust on them and then owns them.
My kids and I danced to the Michael Jackson version for years and I never got all of the words. Angelina once again opens up the words, lets me in to the story of the song. I love this. Quincy Jones (one of her mentors) approves, I'm sure. And Michael, too, I'm sure. Thank you for your reaction and enthusiasm.

Thanks for the great reaction with Angelina, Vibe. It's amazing how Angelina manages to change the very flavor of the songs she reinterprets, she is simply extraordinary. Her slow, scratched voice with those wonderful jazzy inflections makes the lyrics much more understandable and emotional and her slow pace is superb. Sweetness, emotion, softness, soul, love, are all ingredients that are always very present in her voice, Angelina is an inexhaustible source of musical poetry. This is really great jazz. 💛🧡❤

You know and I know that Michael did Michael's version, which was perfect with his dancing etc.. and now Angelina does what she does .. and she does it as a story- teller .. which is nothing short of brilliant! Truth is, we get to hear the song now, the story comes to life .. and know that both of these versions are totally brilliant .. and Angelina, as always .. tells us the jazzy story .. and she becomes responsible for all of us to live Billie Jean again. . AND to recall and remember Michael's version also .. showmanship .. everything that is his being .. and beautiful to watch. Along comes Angelina and she gets is to truly come alive in such a different way .. she is the iconic story teller .. brilliant! As I have stated before, Angelina carries notes like they have handles and once again turns MJ's classic "Billie Jean", now into a classic jazzy song. Super Vibe reaction, thumbs up homie.
What is remarkable about Angelina is that very often when she listens to an iconic song such as this, she hears what we all hear (and know so well). But she also hears a new thing, a different thing, and has the emotional and vocal skills to bring that new thing to life! Did Michael get it wrong? Not really, but at the same time, did Angelina "fix" it? In some sense maybe yes. Many have said they never really focused on the lyrics to this until Angelina sang it. That's no small thing. Many say the same about her rendition of "Suspicious Minds".
Just one more otherworldly example of what one of her zillion fans said (and I have never heard it said better): Angelina doesn't cover songs...she uncovers them.

She totally re-did this iconic epic song. I bought Thriller the year it was released and danced to it many times and hummed along with it. His version makes you want to dance along to it. Her version is totally different, still very recognizable and it is nice cool jazz version. It makes me bob my head along and tap my foot and snap my fingers, grabbing a beer and relax. What it also does is making me really hear the story which didn’t happen in decades.
What is really strange is how little attention this little marvel has gotten. So many people still have to discover her and enjoy her art.
