    I have juiced for around 20 years off and on. Juicelady was my first and, not much used centrifugal machine. Second was a Champion single augur, design from the 80’s which was better and as a result used a bit more often. My third and current is an Angel which was a revelation to me in terms of yield and quality of juice. I do still pass the finished juice through a sieve (the one that came with the Champion juicer) and the taste, smoothness and colour is nothing short of a revelation. I’ve seen comments that certain fruits like pineapple are a problem but Soft fruit and veg just need the plunger with the gasket around to feed the pulp through then it’s not an issue. I have no experience of twin stage juicers, the Norwalk (read up on Norman W Walker) or Pure. In conclusion and as per the video, if you are serious about juicing then Angel is still the best option. The quality of the juice is sky high and the yield saves you money in the long run.

      Can you make a video on how juice the soft fruits/veggies with the Angel juicer?

      the plunger with the gasket is the wooden tool with silicone ring around that yo use to push down the vegg/fruit?

      @@incorectulpolitic yes, I have the one without the silicone ring as well which I use the most. Just use the one with if juice is backing up. The only thing I had trouble with was turmeric root which I don’t juice anymore. Other than that the Angel has performed perfectly. 1.5 litres of veg juice a day is what I go for and this takes around 45mins including preparation of the ingredients, juicing and cleaning up. Don’t always manage that every day 😂

      I think slow and centrifugal juicers produce different juice. The juice from centrifugal juicer can taste very good when it creates creamy orange juice or creamy melon juice for example. You wont get that oxygenated, creamy juice with a slow juicer. But i definitely see the merit of using a slow juicer for higher quality juice that provides better nutrition probably.

    I've got around 200 to spend, I value smoothness of the juice so the best filtration above all, for the rest I literally have no othere demands, I don't care about looks or anything like that. What could you reccomend me?

    Is the angel juicer good for juicing Ginger, turmeric and celery?

  • @RSwessem

    Nice, concise overview! As I've noticed in various Angel juicer video's by now, they often seem to generate smaller or greater levels of foam. I've seen it happen with pineapple and wheatgrass, but also with celery and beetroots like demonstrated above for example. Is this a sign of (excess) aeration and therefore oxidation, and would that mean it's negatively impacting the preservation of nutrients? It just seems like some single gear models produce less foam with many popularly used or difficult-to-juice ingredients. Could you comment on this?

    I bought mine from you guys last year and really like it, however I struggle with soft fruits (with soft fruit screen). Pineapple and melon is such a pain to do with so much juice getting backed up which is really disappointing and makes me consider selling for this reason alone.

      never used it but the course screen is supposed to overcome that problem.

      Buy the screen with the bigger holes! I use that for Pineapple and it comes out great! No need to buy a whole new juicer if you like the angel.

    If you recommend the Angel, which of them would you?

    What about corrosion....should I worry about getting small metal stuff in my juice after some time ?

    • @juicersuk
      @juicersuk  Год назад

      Hey, No you don't need to worry about that since Angel Juicers are made out of high-quality stainless steel which will easily crush and juice ingredients without degrading.

  • @LazerNR
    @LazerNR 9 месяцев назад

    Doesnt the gears grind, look like they touch, and release stainless steel into your juice?

    • @juicersuk
      @juicersuk  9 месяцев назад

      Hi LazerNR, nope, the gears are very close together but are designed in such a way to not touch. the ridges go in the gaps in the opposing gear meaning it will create the most pressure to squeeze the as much juice out without actually touching each other so there will be no stainless steel particles in the juice.

    Hey I want a juicer to juice any fruit and veggies and get the most juice and nutrients out. I also want to be able to store the juice, I know some start oxidation and is best drunken immediately. What juicer allows me to store up to 4-5 days?

    • @katysinterlude

      @@juicersuk thanks! Can you recommend me an affordable juicer $100-200 for a beginner that’s just starting my juicing journey? I want to get the nutrients and fibers but at a reasonable price. I seen people recommend the nama j2 but idk if it’s unbiased.

    Way WAY overpriced! For a casual juicer this is obnoxiously expensive. I bought another juicer brand for about $150. Works great. I don’t need to pay 10x the price just to have some juice a few days a week.

    Nicely presented video however sounded more like a sales pitch than a Demo, everyone shows carrot and celery in juicers as they are easy to juice, so a variety of veg/fruit would have been helpful instead of simply saying it can do a wide range of ingredients which is pretty non helpful to prospective purchasers, also nuts and sorbet demo would be good as demos on these are rare. And yes I'm hard to please, especially when it comes to shelling out $2000 for a juicer as these are in Australia and that's before you start buying any add ons.

    3 YEAR WARRANTY - that does not give any confidence on such an expensive 'well built' machine !!!! What is provided for after sales service? Huron provide 15 years!!
