i am having an above knee amputation in january . i have multiple orthopedics problems . left leg is wasted due to berve damage. this is my last chance to be able to walk and get me out of my wheelchair . thank you the up lift . i am trying to get as much information as possible before i go into hospital .
David Harrison I have been a left AKA for 5 years now. Been using a prosthesis for 3 years. Do not give up. It will make you mentally tough. I made the huge mistake of not doing physical therapy or working out nearly as much as i should and Im paying for it. I wish you the best of luck and a happy, full life.
+JackstandJohnny thank you . It is very hard to get basic simple answers to ordinary questions. I have found its much better to ask those who know directly rather than the "experts" in the hospital .I have found out more this way in a few months than i have in over a year at the hospital . wish you well and thank you again .
