Expensive Upgrades EASY - Boom Beach Resource Boat "Hack"

- The new hero levels are EXPENSIVE. 8.5m gold for Sgt. Brick level 23 is going to be hard for a lot of players. The Boom Beach April Update changed how the Resource Boat works so we can now stack as many resources as possible in an 'off shore' account. #boombeach #donttouchtheboat
Leave your resource boat from now until the time the Boom Beach June Update is released and your upgrade will be far easier than otherwise.
We'll also talk about the updated Cluster Grenade details, try to figure out how Second Wind prioritizes troops and more.
A tad bit clickbait but it's really useful to know!
Today zmoT uses his HQ18 (level 46) account to take on the Boom Beach event cycle for June 13, 2018 using primarily smokey zooka (smooka) gameplay. The occasional rifle/zooka (rooka) or heavy/zooka (hooka) mixed in when required! I try to use all heroes but it usually ends up being Brick and Battle Orders (since HQ18 doesn't have Bullit).
Today's Boom Beach event is DrT Volcano and we managed to take down ALL 7 stages with no statue boost. Free crystal(s) and no power powder (pp) spent, yes please! Attacks hopefully act as an entertaining tutorial on how to (and how not to!) attack Dr.T when he lands on your archipelago.

The resource boat cannot be raided and scales based on how many freed villages you have.

Awesome reminder and great video! I didn’t use the resource boat for about 2 weeks and I believe it caps out at max resources, as my resources went from almost empty to full!🙌🏽😋
Second wind brings back the most recently killed troop first, so it revived the single gren first then the medic and at level 4 no more medics and grens could be revived.
I watched the second wind deployment part of the video at half speed to try and check the order they came out. You sounded drunk and confused, it was hilarious. I think I might watch all your future videos at 1/2 speed, so try and keep them short. 😂
I've been using the resource boat trick on my mini account to get armoury upgrades done. It's very useful but took me about a week to train my self out of tapping it every time I logged on.

They only changed it in the April update!
Keeping resources boats would have been so nice when u was upgrading from low level. I like the change.
Also sounds like I need to upgrade the stupid 2nd wind and have some fun with it
Second wind brings back troops in the order of which they last died so.... Gren died last he comes back first - medic died second to last he comes back next - medic died third but too much space so rifles to fill
I've seen it do "not that" in my testing. Very confused at the moment.
Anon Moose second wind brings back a ‘certain amount’ of housing space (unit size) depending on lvl. The reason it didn’t bring back more of the troops that died is because your lvl didn’t have ‘space’ (3 unit space left) to bring back another medic (5 units)/gren(6 units), so u got 3 rifles instead. Does that make sense now?

hi mr zmoT, i'm not sure if you will see this as it is a couple of years late, but i just thought of another way to save (a tiny bit of) gold (maybe?). After every map clear, if you invest gold into the most expensive troops possible, then i think that gold is safe, and is refunded when you next reload your fave combo! It will probably make little to no difference, and someone may have already thought of this, but it just occurred to me and i thought i would throw it out there :)
This is why everyone on the leaderboards had all cryoneers loaded for years :) well known and widely used trick
Thanks for the tip about the boat. I don’t care very much about the new hero levels, I’ll upgrade battle orders then go back to hoarding hero tokens. Maybe one day I’ll be able to use them on an ability that I actually use.
You need to upgrade your hero to level 23 (8.5m gold) to get battle orders level 6 is the issue...

There is actually no cap for the boat, last time I left it alone for about almost a month and when I collected it, manage about 5mill.

It was capped until April 2018. It is no longer capped.

When your bases gets raided.. do you lose resources from that boat??
The wiki says "Players attacking your home base cannot steal anything from this boat"
They come back based on troop capacity (example: scorcher dies and riflemen dies, scorcher is brought back first
hey man, love the vids, you say dont touch the boat but the link shared boombeachwiki says the boat has a max cap, i have 108 villages and must collect every 12hours
The wiki is outdated. The last update to his page was in March 2016 but the release notes for the April 2018 update say:
Resource Boat: Resource collections are no longer capped at 130k

Seems to be based on HQ or Armory or Radar Level, not VP level.

Yes it appears to scale based on *something*. Not sure what but my HQ12 account gets 60 gold per hour from a freed island. HQ18 = 91, HQ16 = 81, HQ22 = 117. Might be Radar or HQ based...?
