I think the scarf that you are calling tie dye is batik instead. If you research it, I think you will be more excited to wear it because batik is a very intricate art process using wax to create a design. Can't wait to see how you put outfits together with these scarves!
Nah thats tie dye 😮 batik would have a pattern or design on it whereas this clearly has the markings of being tied and died. The colours are delicious though. and whyyyy do I love that fringe 😭
I have at least 25 Vera scarves - and never knew she made solid ones! The Western/rides scarf is so sheer you can almost see through it, which makes me wonder if it could be from the 1930s? (The style of the bronco rider looks ‘30s to me too.) And I would describe your style as bohemian, which is not far removed from hippie. Looking forward to seeing how you utilize this treasure box from your friend.
I am also puzzled by these plain Vera scarves! They are so lovely. That horse one... I almost feel like it should be in a museum of folk art. I'm afraid to even wear it! I can see how you think my style is bohemian and I accept that but I'll never accept "hippie"! 😂
It's weird, because I'm the one that makes these videos but I also cannot wait! I am thinking about going ahead and posting it this weekend because I'm too excited!
What’s great box of scarves, such fun watching you pull each one out… so exciting I went to a small little thrift store today, there was a bin of scarves, one particular scarf caught my attention it was so beautiful, only to discover it was a Oscar De La Renta … I paid $1.50 for it, I think it might be in the lead to be one of my favorites 😍
Yes they are! I'm so HAPPY and she's a GREAT friend regardless of giving me scarves or not. ❤ She's one of those friends that friend so hard you wonder how you are even worthy of having a friend like that.
@@unblahyourself I can imagine how amazing you felt that your friend put this special gift aside for you, knowing that it will be well-received by you. You deserve it because you will make good use of it! 🤗😘
Batik is an Indonesian technique of wax-resist dyeing applied to the whole cloth. This technique originated from the island of Java, Indonesia. I think that’s what the scarf is that looks hippie 😊.
It turned out they were literal bootstraps. I had never seen bootstraps before! I ended up giving them to a teenager with an edgy style and he wears them as Brecksville
My boyfriend recently bought me 80 yes 80 silk scarves at an estate sale. I’m learning to style them watching you.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm dying at the thought! How lucky are you??!😍 I like to style them more casual so I hope you like that!
I love the scarves! Can’t wait for the various ways you will tie them!
This was the most exciting thing to happen to me in a while!!! I am so excited I'm considering posting the scarf stying video early. 😍

Interesting! It's funny how much I learn from putting videos up where I don't know what I'm dealing with and others let me know. Thanks!
@@unblahyourself We are all learning a lot from you, Diana.
i’m thinking the mini yellow belts are for jazzing up boots?
