Anytime Walter Orange took lead vocals they were a FUNK BAND!!
They don’t make songs like this no more and it’s just plain sad.
Disco
I love how the audiences just sat on shows like that. How do you not move to this??
From the movie Thank God It's Friday in 1978 during my high school years.
My high school days! Best times ever. ❤️🔥🔥❤️🔥
That bass……those horns…..so effin dope.
The 🥁 drums
The glasses 👌😁
The best Era of music ever❤
That's what I call puttin' the 'unk in Funk ! Haaa-wt DAAAWWG ! What in the heck did these guys have for breakfast growing up? Whatever it was, they're not serving that anymore, and this great music is only history today...😢
Seen over 200concerts missed this one wish I would have had the experience
The Sax player looks familiar....😅😂
LOL. I didn't even know he could play the saxophone.
He was damn good at the half time football final live
Yup Lionel played sax piano and drums too
Uhm HeLLO?!
Doesn't matter where I am, if the Commodores - Too Hot Ta Trot or Brick House or so many more - come on, I can't stay still, I have to move with the groove.
Fantastic! 70's Disco Soul.
Lionel Riche was a back up singer then.
He and the drummer traded lead vocals. He also played sax. The drummer is singing lead, here.
Who wrote this? Probably Lionel?
That is what I call FUNK!
All my Class if 81 friends!! This is for You😊
Yes!!! Class of’81. Great music
Super Cool & Groove!
Real 🎶 music 🎶
Aww❤❤"Too Hot To Trot."🍓
Walter did all the fun stuff, Lionel the ballads. Imagine how good your band is if Lionel Richie is just the sax player & backup singer most of the time.
I love Walter!
Rock Pop tv show
💝💝💝👍👍👍👌👌👌👌
Where's Tommy? 🤔🎵🎼🎶
Great tune
Whoooo!
💜🎶🎸🎶🎺🎶🤘🏽🔥🤘🏽
Top de linha👍🏻👏🏻
Now I know that Brick House wasn't the only Walter Orange lead.
Interesting clip. Conspicuous by his absence is guitarist Thomas McClary. I though that was him on drums, but at a second glance, it doesn’t appear to be him.
From my understanding, Thomas had a knee injury and missed this set.
Did Lionel write this classic?
Lionel lindo ❤💋
With all security his major success.
Can't believe no comments this is the shit! Makes u wanna get up n b too hot to trot!¡!!!!¡!!!!¡!!
Is it me or does it look like they’re using the horns and guitars as props?
This song is reminiscent of Just The Same Way from Journey in the sense that it showcased the true lead singer of the aforementioned band…nothing wrong with that but just and observation…
An
Walter was just as good on vocals just didn't get the recognition as Lionel
I was raised on The Commodores ever since I was five years old I knew good music when I heard it I studied Lionel Richie as a kid for years later I met him at a gas station on the way to Catholic School the rest is history but please don't get angry at me I always thought this singer here look like jaleel White bka Steve urkel
Wow nice song hehe
