For the people who want to buy 20k EVs, their income wouldn't be high enough for the whole 7500 tax credit. For those who would have over 7500 federal tax liability, they would not be interested in a tiny car like this. The way EV tax credit has been delivered in the US is not mid-class friendly in many (non-democrats) states.
They could be under 20k with federal tax credits ($7,500) - example Chevy Bolt is $15,100 after incentives - source: ev.pge.com/vehicles/Chevrolet_Bolt__BEV_2023#:~:text=%247%2C500-,Tax%20Credit,qualified%20plug%2Din%20electric%20vehicle.
@@gasev You'll have to have over 150k household income if you are married to have an annual federal tax liability of 7500, which is way beyond the average mid-class household income in most states.

Something WRONG - you state best small EV's under 20K you only show EV's around 30 to 40K

Also, some of these cars don't qualify for the federal credit because of the limits on where they are assembled and what's in them.
