People give Chad a bad rap for how many fights he loses BUT if you look at the context of who he loses to most of the time, his opponents tend to be opponents that none of the others in the group (including Ichigo) could have beaten at that point. Seriously, let’s look at his big losses: 1. Shunsui- The man is not only a captain but also one of the most powerful soul reapers in existence. We’re talking about a guy who was part of a duo who double teamed Yamamoto (the only Soul Reaper Aizen could not beat), beat the top ranked Espada in Fake Karakura Town, had a bankai that would kill anyone with eyes (thank God he never used it in their), AND to top it all off: He took Yamamoto’s place as head captain. Ichigo certainly wouldn’t have faired much better at that time. This fight was ultimately meant to reinforce what Yoruichi warned Ichigo’s group about when they entered the Soul Society: the Captains were too powerful for Ichigo’s group to face at their current level. This was also shown with Ichigo’s attempt to fight Gin at the gate. 2. Yammy- This was the 10th most powerful Espada (pre-2nd release). Ichigo got his ass kicked by him in Bankai form (he was distracted by White trying to take control but still). Uryu, who has WAY more energy output than Chad, couldn’t scratch Yammy in his 1st first release and had to resort to simply taking out of the fight by causing the floor of the palace to collapse. Plus, even when Chad teams up with Rukia and Renjii (2 lieutenants), Yammy still trounces them in his 2nd release. Hell, Yammy in his 2nd release is FAR stronger than any of the other 9 Espada (which isn’t completely relevant due to the fact that his strength is offset by the fact that he’s a terrible fighter who can’t properly gauge how much power he needs but still). Ichigo, who was nearly recovered from his fight with Ulqiorra, couldn’t scratch him. It took Byakuya and Kenpachi, 2 of the strongest captains in the Soul Society (only rivaled/surpassed by Yamamoto, Unohana, Shunsui, and Ukitake) to actually kill him. Chad really can’t be faulted for this loss. It’s like if Tien was matched against Recoome instead of Vegeta. Not even remotely a fair match up. 3. Nnoitora- We’re talking about a guy MUCH stronger than a guy Ichigo barely beat in a much stronger Bankai Hollow form. Even if Ichigo fought Nnoitora before Grimmjow tired him out, it would not have gone much gone much better because, as I pointed out, it took A LOT out of Ichigo to beat an Espada lower on the food chain. Hell, Nnoitora in his release form was only able to be beaten by Kenpachi unlocking almost all of his power. Chad just had shitty luck here. Plain and simple. The thing with Chad’s losses that viewers/readers don’t fully grasp is that they’re not at all meant to showcase Chad being weak. Quite the contrary. They’re meant to showcase how a character established as being established as a extremely strong is nothing before the next threat.
Chad always got the most hype then gets KO'd by someone leagues above him. Nnoitra was bad but Shunsui? After seeing what he can do it's cruel how screwed over he gets. Like no luck on the lottery at all.
To be fair, Chad just suffers from the Worf Effect. When he loses, he loses against people even Ichigo couldn’t beat at that point in the story. Chad’s losses are typically to demonstrate how strong a new antagonist is. For instance, I don’t see how people could give Chad shit for this loss. Ichigo gave up A LOT in his fight with Grimmjow who was much weaker than Nnoitra. Nnoitra was so strong that he pushed Kenpachi to his near limits to kill him.
But still had to gave credit to Chad he was on his own. Ulquiulla murdered Ichigo's ass and needed help of Orihime and Grimmjow to come back to live. Ishida and Renji couldn't do shit against Arrancar No8 and Rukia on her own took out Arrancar No9. And Chad with worst luck to fight with Arrancar 5 who is as crazy as Kenpachi.
@@rahulsar2030 chad was not even a match for Nnoitra Fraccion much less Espada, his Full Power Left arm attack was blocked by Base TEsla, if he had gone release Chad would of gotten rekt pretty bad. Rukia was also outmatched, Base Aaroniero was playing with her, if not for his arrogance and his Glass head rukia would of died pretty bad.

But he didn't used "Muerte", isn't it ? That's just a "basic" punch, even if it's with Brazo Izquierda Del Diablo. Muerte is his most powerful move and above of that, he was not at his best due to being out of a fight against Gantenbaine. He would not push Noitora to release, but a this best and using Muerte, he could maybe hurt Noitora base, pierce through his hierro and reach him. At least, he could be able to give a fight to Grimmjow Base.
I seriously doubt that. He doesn't have to directly say the moves name to throw all of his might into one punch. While yes he did have a fight that could have left him exhausted, it wouldn't have made a difference if he was at full power. He threw all he had a Nnoitra only to have a face of immense dread signifying that he has no chance of hurting Him. In Grimmjow's case, while his hierro wasn't as tough as Nnoitra during this time, I seriously doubt it would make a difference if Chad punched him also. Plus Ichigo during this time was stronger than he was then his first encounter with Grimmjow, with both being much stronger than Chad even with his arm enhancements. Chad is not hurting any "physical" fighter Espada during this time no matter how you look at it. That's the point of this scene.

Even they could show it in the form of reiatsu image in the air, we could understand easily the fact we don't see the skull is due to there is not a wall or other structure behind Noitora. "Muerte" is a move where Chad concentrate a high quantity of reiatsu in an electric form in at the tip of his fingers before to punch his opponent. He didn't do it here, did he ? Personnally, that is pretty clear the fact to have taken a long time to start up, due to his discomfort with the Hueco Mundo atmosphere(his power coming home, etc...), have him taken a good deal of reiatsu from the beginning of the fight. Chad was dominated by Gantenbaine and was sweating before to get used to the atmosphere of H.M. After that, even if he had not a big difficulty, he had to counter several times attacks of Gantenbaine. Moreover, given the power displayed by the technique, it is not far-fetched to suppose "Muerte" is a move which consume a good deal of spiritual energy. The kind of attack Chad can launch only 2-3 times by day before to be empty of reiatsu when at full potential, the kind of attack he have need of time to reload between two fights. But to stay on facts. Chad clearly just launched a basic punch, but he used "El Diablo" arm, because even at the level of a basic punch, this arm is more powerful than his defensive arm.
