Back in 1948-49 I worked on Pink Smith ranch at thhe head of Flathead Lake Mt. Me an my buddy Terry Smith shocked a field of peas. Pink told us to keep an eye on the lake. He said there was a Sea monster swimming around the lake. Well we shocked the peas an kept an eye out for the monster. Course never saw it but had a good time.watching for it. We ate our lunches in the cook house. The cook had a side of beef in the cooler. He'd go in and slice off a steak for our lunch every day. So we ate with real cow boys. Those were the days. Fond memories for an 81 year old. Think I have some time yet.
His greatest (in my opinion)....he was the ultimate Curly....short, hot-tempered, jealous, took his wife for granted.....all that luggage and a classic Napoleonic complex to boot!
Got to get my fix everyday with Bob Steele western movies
You can still learn a lot of lessons from these old B Westerns.
A wonderful movie. Loved watching it. Bob Steele is as superb as ever. These Westerns can be rewatched many times over.

I recently watched Of Mice and Men from 1939. It was so interesting to see Bob Steele play the villain in a time he played so many hero’s

Another great Bob Steele film.
That ending must be at least tied for the quickest romance in movie history!

Easy to understand young Bob Steele's early movie fame, photogenic for sure!
and talented....he was great in "The Big Sleep" & "Of Mice And Men"
Bob's father, Robert Bradbury, directed many of his early movies
Yes.
@@charlesmitchell8516 He also directed many of John Wayne's early movies. I heard Duke and Steele went to high school together.
If I didn't know better, I'd say that introductory soundtrack was Paniolo music straight from the Islands.....a hui hou, y'all!
