at first I thought that opening the map was the only way to do it since it would cancel the turning animation, but after I posted the video pressing Q and just turning back works better.
the collision boost I found pretty easy to do, but the map turn I really could not pull off...after the quick turn, I jump, but the time is not enough to look towards the wall in time, I end up just doing a curved/crooked jump or something. Now, if I do as you say on the video, when I quick turn I simply cannot just look towards the wall to jump, maybe it's something that need to be made fast af, but the "game" doesn't let me do it, dunno how to explain. Anyway, good video! I'd like to ask you something. I saw another video from other guy about movement tips, and he did your "map turn" (with another name) but without having to press pause, so what is the point of pressing pause? Maybe nowadays it's only possible to do this tech like this?
hey thanks for the comment! so originally with the map turn i thought the only way to do it was by pressing pause after hitting quick turn, but it turns out you don’t need to really. After you quick turn and jump try looking back at the wall as quickly as you can, you should then grab onto the ledge. It’s also a lot harder on a controller btw, and still takes time to learn on any keyboard and mouse. Hope you eventually can get it!
@@kuiio8058 Oh I play on controller, maybe that's the reason then. Well I assume I have to put the sencibility to maximum, right? So I can turn the camera to the wall faster, I mean
@@mati6727 it works, for better timing when at the top of a wall run look only to your lef or right then press quickturn and look oposite to the direction you originally turned and faith should grab the wall, remeber you get alot of hangtime at the end of a upwards wallrun
Are any of these patched or are these simple mechanisms of the game because I cant seem to do any of them If I could get a reply back from somebody that maybe could give me a bit more info that would be so helpful thanks
