So so sad I remember hearing Randall at Roller express back in 94 wicked set accompanied by the monster sound system manned by two engineers I recall and the sound would just go round and round that doughnut of a roller rink. RIP to another legend of the scene in Randall.

When I used to go clubbing back in the day , Randall was the best of them. Best tunes , best mixing. This man used to play to the crowd and he could make a two hour set sound like one tune. Massive respect and RIP to the breakbeat GOAT. ❤
92 what a year. At 50 I feel the need to relive it all. 3 heart attacks later I don't think I could survive another night, but I'm willing to try😂 The buzz you get from standing in line and hearing the sound check, the floor is shaking outside, the queue gets agitated, the doors open, you're let it, there's push at the front, you get in, straight to the bar for some water, another is dropped, you're feeling it more and more, finally you've made it. Don't ever want it to stop. 50yrs old and still know that feeling. RIP my man. All the people on this earth are truly one!!!
Can't believe it, so sad... Thank you for all the Music & for having the great pleasure of seeing you play live... God bless you, Love you & keep you Dj Randall...🙏💓🎶🕊✨️💫...

DJ RANDALL: flawless technical ability and sublime selection have earned him DJ's DJ status, with supporters including Andy C and Goldie. His move into production, while only occasional, were always memorable, providing the classic 'The R' for the Reinforced Enforcers series and linking up with Andy C for 'Sound Control' on Ram Records. Follow DJ Randall: on.fb.me/1Qbst1a Having blown us away at a recent Metalhead History Session we simply had to get the original G down for The Lab LDN and this one is quite simply guaranteed to go off.

I was an underground Jungle Dj in the 90's and when I didn't have gigs would play at a lot of house parties. This is what the crowd would look like. Was so uncomfortable because you can't just play this kind of music for anybody. Should be saved for those people that are worthy to hear it. Junglyist forever!!
It seems I was just a bit younger than yourself, because I did this with d&b 96',97',98',99' in that moment of time of course. And all of this on the good old vinyl!
RIP Randall brother. You gave me some magical nights back in the 90’s that I will always remember. You were the best when it come to jungle/DnB. Sadly missed😢

@@Jayfive276 hipsters - too self-conscious. It you think that's having a good time, bless ya. Randall played to the listeners and not the crowd thankfully
The Lab LDN is Mixmag and Smirnoff Sound Collective's weekly live stream where we showcase the finest DJs direct from our world famous office party. The Lab is powered by Void Accoustics: www.voidacoustics.com
Great set by one of my heroes but, "Smirnoff Sound Collective" ...really? Do we have to drape the corporate sponsor in false artistic light? It just cheapens everything. Bud Light doesn't pretend to be its own football team!
I swear on my life, I had this playing and "DJ Randall MetalHeadz Re Mastered History Mix (2015)" open in another tab: I'd accidentally set the second vid playing, and it was perfectly mixed with this. I didn't realise they were both playing til I paused this and there was still music playing. The power of Randall.
In the early Dreamscape tape packs, or Fusion, Helter Skelter and the like, I would always go straight for the Randall or Kenny Ken mix. The Dreamscape 15/16 Slipmatt and Kenny Ken set is a legendary mix.
This set is 1 of my faves!! From the first tune Guy Called Gerald!!92 when this music took a hold of me!! Took me on a proper journey with this selection!!.. he just knew what come next with every mix!! I from 17 to now 49 I still get hyped up when I know he's on the line up!! Got to hear him out 3 times this year!! Phonox Brixton... valve system Brixton and orange reunion Camden!!! Will be missed so much by DnB Fans!!!
One of the best mixers in the business...flawless...never hear him fuck up a mix on decks...choon selection as well...used to go to see him all over the country...mostly at World Dance and AWOL

As one of the original dnb heads, I was pleased to see that I owned must of the tracks on the list. DJ Randall and absolute legend. Saw you play a few times and always a pleasure to see a master in action. Taken far too early, but as they say. when you die, you die twice. Old music that still sounds futuristic
So true
:) yes. it transfers you direct to another world. nothing else is like jungle music.
Especially some of the metalheadz stuff.
not all old

These seamless rolling mixes of Randall, stunning. What an artist!
They don't make them like Randall anymore and they don't make the crowd either - bloody hipsters - drop the ego. Excellent set - RESPECT the man they call the DJ Randall. This era defined my life - thank you Randall et al.
"drop the ego?" people are just dancing and having a good time. The fuck is up with you people?
@@Jayfive276 hipsters - too self-conscious. It you think that's having a good time, bless ya. Randall played to the listeners and not the crowd thankfully
Who’s listening......classics. Thanks for keeping this posted 🥰
keepin'it real for over 2 decades :) much respect to the man they call Randall ;)
+Bruno Pimenta Too hot to handle!
+Bruno Pimenta full respect to the RANDALL
Consistently heavy over the years. Glad he hasn't gone missing like so many of his league from the late 80s...
Anorak Dubson agreed pal
oh yes 100%
Absolute CLASS. Randall is another level. Oooh how spoilt we were back in the 90s, forever grateful!

I wasn't aware of live dj streams, how cool, how can we find out the next ones coming up?
+DJ Teknovibe Stick this link in your bookmarks to see who is coming up from the Labs in SYD, LDN, NYC and LA: www.mixmag.net/read/lab-dj-lab
Great set by one of my heroes but, "Smirnoff Sound Collective" ...really? Do we have to drape the corporate sponsor in false artistic light? It just cheapens everything. Bud Light doesn't pretend to be its own football team!
+Mixmag he also had mix of Voodoo Magic, track 9 mins in, I lost my copy..:(
As always knocked it out the park. Big tunes and RIP!
Wow, power and energy right there, I'll come back to listen to this many times! Cheers Randall!
Absolute legend. May his soul rest well.
Can't believe it... RIP Randall. Too hot to handle. ⚒️
Best mixmag live so far, respect to Randall, still the best :)

RANDALL IS DA MAN !! Top junglist.. one of my fav djs of all time :)
Brilliant dj followed him in the 90s❤️
In the early Dreamscape tape packs, or Fusion, Helter Skelter and the like, I would always go straight for the Randall or Kenny Ken mix.
The Dreamscape 15/16 Slipmatt and Kenny Ken set is a legendary mix.
Big up you know the score!!!
Yep class beats from back in the day 👌
This set is 1 of my faves!!
How times have changed, I remember in the 90s when mixmag and others looked down on jungle, Bigup Randall though, legend in dis ting...💯
iDrexciya I know innit. Nothing but House, Techno and Trance in old skool mixmag
Probably to separate the poncy house ravers to hardcore dnb skankers 🤣
So when they interviewed JJF in the 90s they were taking the piss?
Had the pleasure of seeing Randall live twice, amazing dj, big up!!
One ofvthe best 👌

I love it when legends like Randall do OldSkool mixes...this one im gonna be rinsing cheers mixmag
+djbanger rinsed and downloaded
+djbanger & love it when Old Skool DJs just use the pitch to mix and never touch the platter. Class.
+Mixmag i can't tell if you're being savage or not?
+Andrew Rundle you don't have a snyc button on a turntable you useless cretin
was thinkin wtf are time coded vinyls ? if its digital you use compact disc!!

That warhead and roll on mix, is sublime
As one of the original dnb heads, I was pleased to see that I owned must of the tracks on the list. DJ Randall and absolute legend. Saw you play a few times and always a pleasure to see a master in action. Taken far too early, but as they say. when you die, you die twice. You die when you physically die and then you die a second time, when people stop talking about you. Watching the video keeps your name alive. RIP fella.
