thanks I built the miditzer 260sp console as seen in my pic ( from scratch a two year job) unfortunately now in storage due to a house move . going to give a similar set up to yours a go for work gigs thanks again keep up the good work
the 10 people that gave this clip the thumbs down must be really sad souls who need to get a life, absolutely relaxing enjoyable & I'm looking forward to getting this software for my T2 , great stuff thumbs up from me!
Gordon. A wonderful arrangement - I have just bought a Tyros 3 and will be getting the TOIAB sounds soon (already have the Fantom ones!). Your arrangement is inspirational and a credit to Reg!. Many thanks. Mark.
It' s amazing to play the Tyros with MIDITZER ( Digital Wurlitzer theatre organ with MIDI interface) in Reginald Dixon' s sample sounds ! My father and my mother have danced and enjoyed " Charmaine" played by Mantovani strings. Tyros may sample Mantovani sound strings !
Hi Mark, this was the standard set of TTT sounds (I think around 15 or 20 samples) originally supplied for T2 but they have been quite heavily edited using the Tyros voice edit software that came with the keyboard. The NP30 lower manual is indeed a dummy, just sending midi signals to the T2 which has all the TTT sounds loaded on board. The same applies to the pedalboard which is also playing from the same sound-set. Glad you enjoyed the clips.
Hi Peter, yes. Firstly you'll need to ensure that you have enough memory available. Having an optional HDD fitted to the Tyros 2 would help (but I don't know whether it's absolutely necessary) but you'll certainly need to upgrade the internal DIMM memory if you haven't already done so . . I think 2 x 512MB is the maximum it will take. After that the Wurlitzer sounds (custom voices) are available from Total Transformation Technology who created the samples. Their website is ttt-sounds.com/ and hopefully they'll still be able to supply sounds for the T2. I hope this helps. Regards, Gordon
Hi Peter, I might be telling you things you already know but, in order to run the TTT sounds, you'll need to have an optional HDD Hard disk fitted to the Tyros and you need to upgrade the DIMM memory cards to the maximum that they can take. If you still have issues I'd suggest contacting TTT to see if they have any ideas. Regards, Gordon
hi would just like to ask what settings your using for your trx system which are you sending to which keyboards for example are u sending the left down to the pedals and voice 3 to the accomp manual i hope im not being confuzing lol
Great playing, I have the T4, will be buying the 1GB flash module. Question to ask you, buying the Compton pipe organ samples, is it a software to put in the flash module? and what is the Tower Power, for the Blackpool Tower Pack? Thanks
Hi Ron, I'm not familiar with the flash modules - when I got my TTT sounds around 5 years ago they were supplied on a USB pendrive but I suggest that Reg Rawlings at TTT will be able to answer all your questions. They're still great sounds for a stand-alone instrument.
***** me,question: on buying the ttt sounds, are they just the sounds samples with no styles? Is that why you and others use 2 keyboards, lower too do the rhythm, some guys use a the add on bass pedals. Thanks
That's correct Ron, the TTT voices I use are just sound samples, no styles. They were edited slightly using Yamaha's T2 voice-edit software and are available to use anywhere over the manuals and pedals.
Glad you're enjoying your sounds. The pedalboard I'm using is a Studiologic MP117 (17 notes from C to E) which should still be available if you look around online. Regards, Gordon
***** I read on line, a guy said slippery on top of pedals? B&H selling $479.95 free shipping, other places $499.00. The MP-113 selling 499.00 every where else, and higher Other places. reviews said some delay, forgot which model had the delay? Thank you, will keep you updated if I go for it or not.
***** Did a search on the Studiologic MP117 at my forum www.psrtutorial.com, a few guys could not get it to work on the Tyros 4, they tried everything, they returned them, guys had no problem with the MP113, MP117 must not be friendly to the T4? strange? A guy said on the MP113 said he found out to turn on the 113 1st before turning on the keyboard, have you heard anything like that? Thanks
