Mark I have played Piano, Keyboard and Organ for about 60 years and are supposed by my peers to be good. I can say NEVER EVER in my life have I played like you. You are astoundingly talented, dedicated and without doubt one of the best I have ever heard. I have gone to concerts and gigs by the top players in the industry and NONE have ever moved me with thier playing ability as you do. Superb utterly superb. Your registration settings are in a league of thier own too. Wonderful. This is my most played you tube video of the 1000s I have saved over the years. Thank you for providing such joy for us to listen to. Wonderful just Wonderful.
Hi Derick thank you for such kind words. I enjoy playing every now and again and comments such as yours helps me to continue playing music - much thanks
To play an organ like that must have taken a long time its unbelievable how you do it your hands move so fast. I would love to play like that, so skillful. You deserve all the praise you get.
Wow, what a fine combination of Mark's talent and the surprising versatility of the Yamaha. Who knew? Thank you very much indeed for these happy sounds.
What a fabulous musician, organist and technique, and absolutely inspirational,. the last time I heard anyone this good was the late and great Reginal Dixon, that I loved listening to on the radio as a boy and always thrilled me.
DANKE Mark
This is absolutely brilliant. I have a huge traditional attitude.. Love it! I miss these organs! The eighties were amazing. Used to sidle myself under the stage on caravan holidays to get close to see what the Organist was up to! Nice and lively!!! :@)
Never tired of listening, great music, you make the el70 sound just great, I have a tyros, but still miss mhy old el70, may get another after listening to you, you can pick up a bargain on times best wishes
Hi Mark, can't get enough of watching your playing and arrangements. I use to watch you in the Ballroom and admired your playing then. You've inspired me to get back out there and play again...next stop, ebay and Yamaha EL70 !! All the best, Craig
Thank you Eberhard for your kind comments. I am glad you enjoy my video clips. I wish I had a Tyros 4 - that would sound fantastic connected to my organ.
These dancing fingers are insane how do they manage to jump so quickly from the top to bottom without tripping over. This is amazingly good I wish I could watch you play life.
himark it is my first time seeing you play this awesome beautifull organ. also you are a fantastic organist. I have loved organs since I heard them in church. as a young kid. so now I am an organist. still in music lessoms at evola music here I n Michigan
From the suit I would say that is Borat playing ? All that dancing appears to be wrecking havoc with all the lights. Very nice touch though, and excellent, dramatic playing. Bravo!
This is absolutely superb, so rythmic, I have listened to this over and over. It would be nice to hear it on a Wurlitzer or Allen Digital Theatre organ. Brilliant playing Mark, keep up the good work.
What can be said but WOW !!!! You're amazing !!!! I do have a request also... how about "Somebody Stole my Gal " Please ??? Thanks a million and keep playing !!!!!!!!!!!!! We need good music like this today !!!!
Hello markdtp, I like a lot the way you play the Electone, congratulations!!! Cool! Would you please try to play a Bossa Nova? Like The girl from Ipanema, Meditation, Wave, Summer Samba or one of these songs. I'd like listen them on your style!! Thank you!
@chrisnab100 Hi Chris. Thanks for watching. First off, practice as often as you can - practice makes perfect and also keeps you relatively fit all that bouncing around! Learn the melody in your right hand first and get a feel for the music - the emotion and rhythm - then start putting the chords together in the left while adding the bass with your feet - take it nice and easy. When you are comfortable playing it 'straight' then you can start adding the 'extras'.
Dear Mark, your playing is so exciting ! would you have any chance of sharing the registration settings yor used I would be prepared to pay for them . Its a work of beauty never thought the EL series could sound like this ! Bravo
I have been listening to your recordings over a period of time and they are among my favorites, the type of music you play and the excellent way you execute it, the quality of recording is also very good with bass that you can actually hear. I would love to be able to play like you, I should obviously have started when I was a kid. I also have an EL90 but it doesn't sound like yours - think there must be something wrong with it ....
Mark Williams Hello Mark, can you contact me please. My email is ianmiz@hotmail.com I would like to ask your advice about your Yamaha EL70 settings. Thanks very much. Ian.
+Ian Mizon you've no chance in getting reg settings from this professional organists trust me ! just listen very carefully and play with the voices mixing and matching .I can get this sound after hours of playing and editing voices :-)
I don't mind the bouncing around at all - it adds atmosphere to the playing. Better than sat there like a lemon just doling out chords..... So, great playing and not staying on one song too long, that's the problem with many on YT.
Oh my gosh! This organist gives himself a real workout while performing these wonderful songs. Love the sampled voice set you are using (you are using a set from a pipe organ, aren't you?) Anyway, KUDOS to you!
@jackyvix Its something to do with the frequency of the lights and the video camera - I promise you there is not a switch on the Yamaha to make this happen!!!!

Hi Dennis - I am glad you liked my medley. Actually the voices I used are all the preset voices with a bit of tweaking.
Gill Oselton Actually I do have a few MP3's without the 'knocking box' as you call it. Will send them to you - what's your email?
Great job, wonderful workout.... must be really tired after one song ?? hahaha

This is my favourite out of all of your recordings.
Your playing is very good and inspiring.
I really enjoy your playing and I often do try
imitate these techniques of the theatre style that
I like. I've actually saved your playings to my
phone.
What is the technique that you do in the
Charleston where your left hand alternates
between the two keyboards? I hope to be able
to do that on the Blackpool Wurlitzer when I go.
never seen an yamaha organ played like this before apart from Nicholas Martin :)
@josephtierney12 It certainly wakes me up!!!
