0:23 - As a former mechanic, I cannot help but wonder why the rear windshield washer tubing is routed from the pump at the bottom of the reservoir in the engine compartment, through the firewall, UP THE A-PILLAR, and then towards the rear of the vehicle? 1:09 - I fully expected the "Door Ajar Light Always On" complaint to be for a mid-90s Ford Windstar. 2:37 - I wonder why the wires are melted? Couldn't possibly be from jamming a paper clip into the OBD-II port and grounding out electrical circuits, right? (Sidenote: The paperclip-in-the-OBD-port trick, to my knowledge, only works for OBD-I GM vehicles, and all it does is flash the Check Engine Lamp to indicate which stored codes are present.) EDIT: 3:10 - HOLD IT RIGHT THERE ONE SECOND! Is that a Daewoo Leganza?! It wouldn't hurt to research your vehicle's make, model, and year to see if there are any easy methods built-in for code retrieval. Many Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep products will post codes to the digital odometer after a certain number and speed of ignition on-off cycles. Some older Mitsubishi vehicles require an analog multimeter between two pins in the diagnostic connector, and you have to count the needle deflections to get the code number (and, in 2014, I couldn't find any shops near me that could read OBD-I from a '95 Mighty Max, not even the Mitsubishi dealership, thank goodness for the internet). Not every manufacturer gives the owner that much access to the onboard diagnostics, but some do. While most shops and techs are honest - for every bad experience, there are likely hundreds of positive experiences - I'm always a proponent of being an informed consumer. However, do NOT clear codes until repairs are made - DON'T clear them before driving to a shop, either - as your techs will need that diagnostic info too.
I saw a 'paint job' similar to that last clip at a shop last yea when I put my own own car in for service. The stick on film did not have artwork but a rainbow effect pearl finish that was applied to all the main panels of the car. It made the car very distinctive and I've seen it around town a few times since. Pity the driver is absolutely hopeless, I haven't seen it lately and won't be surprised if it's in a ditch somewhere.
Have a great week!

Let's all sing a chorus of 'Customer declined repairs!'
0:24 I would bet money that this mechanic did not believe what he was being told by the customer. 😂
Well isn't that a failed engine swap
But seriously, it does fit in there.
Said the bull elephant, to the cow.
Should've just put in an LS like everyone else.
Just when I thought I'd seen it all, Just Rolled In shows up with a new episode. We are doomed as a race...
The fact the customer managed to get a different engine to even start seems completely amazing. He must be some kind of genius.
If you need to ask a mechanic to troubleshoot an engine you install yourself... you probably should have gone to the mechanic in the first place
2:37 I am no mechanic, but come on, do you need to look into why the wires melted?
The damn idiot was shoving paperclips into connectors
Now the fuses would've popped but because this guy is a genius, he would've replaced the fuses with 30A ones and the wires melted
my Chevette's on board diagnostic insructions actually DO involve a jump wire, and I think a paper clip was suggested in the manual... Aaah, the 80s...
@@bunhelsingslegacy3549 A friend's car wouldn't run right after he replaced the battery, and the dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree. Someone else bent two of the tines of a fork in put it in a port under the dash. It reset the cars computer to factory normal and ran fine. I guess a bent paperclip would have done the same thing.
I don't remember the exact model, early 90's Pontiac.
@@christopherconard2831 it's an OBD1 thing, which was done away with in the early 90's. you can read your engine codes without a scanner as well using the jumper.
I took my car to a mechanic for an $84 oil change; $1200 later (new brakes, new wheels, a/c leak repaired, Freon filled, back windshield wiper ($24 alone!) etc. About broke, but feel safer now, LOL!
The art on the last car was so awesome!!
Not gonna lie, have to admire the first guys ingenuity on his engine install. Too bad it didn’t work
The motto of this channel should be “the customer denied all repairs”
I think this channel is helping show that Peugeot/Citroen cars aren't the terrrible, it's the owners being cheap or bodging things.
Let's give props to the guy who submitted his Daewoo Lanos to be featured in the ending screen. That takes guts.
God bless the honest mechanic!!!
The man that crudely fabricated the tone wheel and sensor bracket was thing outside of the box , I give him credit for perseverance !
I can check trouble codes in my car with a paperclip.
Some 20 year old cars with OBDI. Nothing new.
@garyszewc3339 I was just saying! Dude created problems do it! And no a lot of people don't know!! Considering the content we're watching!!! SMH also obd1 cars are way older than 20 yeas!! Obd2 came out in 1996 smart guy!!
So many of these "declined repairs" are just terrifying. How is it legal to let these cars back on the road like that?
I love how you almost lost it when reading about the paper clip.
Just Rolled In, This made me laugh so much! Thanks for sharing!
This channel never disappoints.
cmon MAN, those painted brakes look great ! LOL....
Probably smoking hot looking. 😅
😅 the guy having a "stroke" priceless.
2:51 Next episode:
"Customer states she can't see the road when sunlight hits the windshield from the front, but on a cloudy day she can see just fine".
wife says why do you always drive so cautiously.
i says, watch this
The art car owns, unironically
I don't know how these cars get into such a state.😱🤣
OMG!!! The thing that’s scares me the most is the knowledge that those morons share the road with me!! Terrifying!!!
Whenever I watch one of these, I think twice about riding my motorcycle. Knowing these cars are out there.
That Honda owner did a decent job with that crank wheel and welder!
(Sidenote: The paperclip-in-the-OBD-port trick, to my knowledge, only works for OBD-I GM vehicles, and all it does is flash the Check Engine Lamp to indicate which stored codes are present.)
EDIT: 3:10 - HOLD IT RIGHT THERE ONE SECOND!
I don't understand, why so many of these People take their car to fix a problem and proceeds to refuse the fix for the probably deadly issue.
