this song is so well written. everything from the vocal hook in the chorus to how the octaves come in on the bridge.
people saying this is bland just because it’s not got crazy drum parts or complex guitar riffs can get lost
sometimes less is more and this is a perfect example of that. can’t wait for the album.

I think Fuelled By Ramen are back on their feet and really picking up the pace. They have some brilliant artists and I was worried Basement wouldn't fit but they're as good as ever. Can't wait to see them on tour! It's been over 2 years since I last saw them.

Jason LovesABR Not so much Paramore as that progression was very much their own decision (By Taylor York namely) and their album was brilliant. But All Time Low was definitely a bad move, especially with how poorly received it was both socially and commercially. Very glad Basement have retained a cool mid-2000s emo/ Pop-punk sound.

Jason LovesABR Don't really agree. The 1975 are just an alternative synth pop band, Paramore we're inspired by the 80's and the fact that they wanted to do whatever they wanted to because they were just about to break up. Paramore have a lot of heart, and the success of the album goes to show (unlike All Time Low)

This sound is gonna take me a little to get used to, but it's really really good. I can hear the mature progression in this song for sure. I'm getting a lot of Jimmy Eat World and some Oasis vibes from this for sure. I also think Alex is using a handful of the same chords he used to write the Fiddlehead LP so it kinda has that post-hardcore/emo Fiddlehead sound mixed in as well. Very excited for this LP.
