Ryan Gold probably because of copyright stuff with run for cover. They re-released their album on spotify, probably for that reason. It sucks but eh🤷🏼♀️
They actually said something about how they were rushed when recording this album and wanted to revisit the title track for a rerelease with Fueled By Ramen. I think instrumentally, I like the old version, but the vocals sound much better on this one, especially that little part at the end.

this is about as close as basement have gotten to capturing their live sound since colourmeinkindness, apart from the guitars not being anywhere near punchy enough. But i guess this is better than the original, the shortening of the end keeps the momentum up and stops it dragging. good work boyos
