Doesn't hurt when your muse is Sade. My jaw dropped when some fool of an interviewer claimed in an interview with her that she'd never had a mesmerizing music video. Every last one I've seen so far is art that belongs projected on the side of the most major building in every city, every night. No other musician's videos do I play more often.

Think about the pure talent and mature sound, image, and characters of Sade, Whitney, Vanessa Williams, etc. we had in the 80s. At probably the about the same age now they have Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift, Cardi B. No comparison in terms of talent, artistry, professionalism, and mature sound.
Such as shame how far we have fallen, the so called "artists" of today ( and I use that word loosely) have no business in a recording studio , and obviously did something less than ladylike( and that's putting it kindly) to get where they are today, I don't listen to any of that crap

All of those are black artists though. If you want to compare genres and sound Beyonce would be a better example. Camilla Cabello (not black obviously) is also extremely underated because shes new and is still putting her image together. She is very dynamic and creative with her voice. R&B has fallen off the radar though and has kind of been replaced with hip-hop. The talent is definitely still there but the music might never be the same.
Just puts me in a whole different vibe when I listen to her music.

Here I was trying to find the place. I did a Google Search based on "Blanca Paloma" which led me to this town...and all I had to do was scroll down to the comments.
But looks like the town has been massively expanded. In the video, it's almost like an outpost. A few cars here and there but a town that seems completely isolated...a Google search of the town reveals a lot more activity.

I was introduced to Sade in the early 90s when I was a youth but even 30+ years later it sounds timeless to me🙏🏼 thank you dad for putting me on at such a young age
my mother came up with sade and the record love was stronger than pride but I was too young. Years after on an isolated place in black forest with my 27th years I began to love her music and being happy to get 3 records of her work on vinyl. But this Version of the track much better than the original version of the promise record.
