SHOEI NXR 2 UNBOXING | MOST COMFORTABLE HELMET EVER!!

Today, I wanted to share this short unboxing video of the SHOEI NXR 2 “Accolade” Helmet and the Tinted Visor Dark Smoke (both sold separately).
The reason I chose this helmet was exclusively for its comfort and sound isolation. After seeing many reviews and hearing various opinions about it, this seemed to be the right helmet for me. I will soon post a video review of this helmet, so stay tuned! 😀
Why this specific design? 🤔
I spent a lot of time trying to decide which NXR 2 design to get. There were many options, and a few of them were straight-up BANGERS! In the end, I thought about uniqueness and visibility. As you can see, this helmet has a very unique design, and the yellow areas are VERY visible. Before pulling the trigger, I needed to understand what the Japanese writing around the helmet meant. That is why I wrote to SHOEI Europe, and they contacted the design team from SHOEI Japan. They kindly wrote me back shortly with the specifics of the design concept, the Japanese writing, and the translation of the NXR 2 Accolade. That sealed the deal for me!! 👍
When I was looking for tinted visor options, which are sold separately, I decided to get the Dark Smoke version. It provides enough protection from sunlight and gives the helmet a more “aggressive” look, in my humble opinion. I installed it right away, as summer is almost over here in Europe, and honestly, I don’t like to ride with clear visors. Besides, I don’t ride at night, so it’s all good 😎
