IF we all want to see some more beauty on this channel, why don't we take up the torch? SETH, what if you set up a dropbox and any of us who want could film some of our running and you could compile it all into some videos for us to watch? I'd personally love to see the DGR family and where they are running... Food for Thought!
Family culture and content are my favorite parts of this channel. Came for a shoe review, stayed for you guys. With three little kids of my own under 6 years old I can totally relate.
Seth, considering the challenge of your injury and the introduction of baby Kate, right now, you are doing an amazing job. Thanks for your hard work, and believe me, the DGR family will stay patient and loyal
Hi Seth, glad to see your getting stronger and off the crutches. I have to say that since you’re injury you seem a bit more rested and maybe the injury was a blessing in disguise to help you slow down. I would be perfectly fine as a viewer if you took the odd day off once in awhile. We are all human and need to hit the pause button. Keep pushing and listen to your body, stop when you need to stop, we love you
I am avocado grower in México and have been running for more than 37 years, only a couple of injuries thanks to avocados from México! Good to see you and your family eating this super food. No, they are not grown in Puerto Vallarta, they are grown in Michoacán but there is a very nice half Marathon in Vallarta the first Sunday of November.
Of course as a runner I love running content, and that's how I found the channel, but I appreciate the family culture and content first and foremost. Personally, I think that's what gives life and character to this channel/community.
:qod: I found your channel by shoe reviews, but subscribed because of you, my friend. Your humor, life transparency, "Seek beauty, work hard, love eachother", and all the training tips as well. Blessings, get well soon brother!
Been watching for over 3 years now Seth, I really enjoy the look into your daily life as a Father, Husband, and runner. Keep doing what you have been doing and trust the process!!!😁
Hi Seth, I (we/DGR) are not giving up on you so easily 🙂. Even during this sabbatical or with your injury, you keep making vlogs which catch my attention, from the first minute to the last. Btw, funny to watch your throwback video (and to see / compare the number of views back then compared to now). Keep on healing well, keep those vlogs coming, keep on enjoying and seeking beauty! I know I will 🙂
I like them as well. Good to see the journey back to full health. And I love the shoe reviews. SJD is the only runner of that caliber I know of doing shoe reviews on YT.
Hope you recover fast Seth! I was bit unlucky getin Sinus Infection last week. And i of course have race this week. So i did not get to run for the last 6 days. But im much better now and will take part this weekend. but beeing sick the week before a race is something you not want =/
I enjoy the running content the best. Training, scenery, shoe reviews, and all that goes with it. I think you do a great job of changing it up with family and other content.
You got me through a run last night. It was perfect weather, I felt great -- but my mind kept telling me to stop. Then I thought about your videos and how you've inspired me. You can't run due injury the least I could do was power through an easy day!
While you were injured, World athletics happended in Oregon, U20 World in Cali, and Sierra Zinal last week-end. I follow your channel because I like your opinion. With your expérience, it would be interesting for me to hear your ideas about the results or the stratégies used during these important running events?
Still love the shoe reviews, I really can't overstate how much those have helped increase my running IQ. With that being said, your sweet cute baby was the star of the vlog today!
If been a runner for 11 years and a triathlete for 9 years. Running is my true sport. I love the simplicity and the primal feel of running as far or as fats as you can. I discovered this channel durning the pandemic and it boosted my love for running. Some super motivational content. I love the race vlogs the most, I will check the shoe reviews if it’s a shoe I’m looking to purchase. I do love the family life and travel content too. I think it’s a lovely channel. All the best with the recovery Seth
Injured here too. It sucks, especially when you are slowly but surely progressing. In Seth's case thou, he is already a legend and an inspiration, and to see him recover from all his injuries is something to marvel and be thoughtful of. God Bless your soul Seth.
I want to commend you for your transparency with your family and life. Seeing you recovering to hit the roads again shows that I too have hope to get better as I take care of my hip injury
As a 60 year-old teacher/coach/creator of Wholistic Fitness and as a parent (and weekly Vlogger on RUclips), ,I’m enjoying witnessing your maturation toward wholeness even through the specificity of running. Stoked to see the crutches tossed! C’mon!
Congrats on graduating from the crutches! Hopefully you're able to stay off them. I originally found your channel three years ago when I first moved to CO and was looking for some trail inspiration. I stayed because I got wrapped up in your OTQ journey, then mountain training, etc... I love seeing the beauty you capture and the stories you tell. I don't love the shoe reviews, unless I'm actively shopping. BUT! I understand life happens, you more than deserve a day or weeks off. I just keep checking back for non-shoe content. Keep it up, Seth! 👍
Hey Seth, avocados are not grown in Puerto Vallarta but mainly in the state of Michoacan, but you can find guacamole and avocados in whole Mexico. Hope to have you and your family back to Mexico, cheers.
I see what you did there in the poll adding in “mix of all the above”. I think that’s what the majority are now going to put as their answer. To be honest I didn’t mind all the shoe reviews and battles. I love shoes, clothes and gear. That’s why I started watching the channel few years ago because I made the switch to running and didn’t know what the best shoes were. Then started enjoying the video clips of running the cities and mountains.
Pliny the Elder! I knew you used to drink beer (and still occasionally do), but didn't know you were a beer nerd! I'm fortunate enough to live in San Francisco, where Russian River beers are easily found. They're sold in all Whole Foods, for instance. Maybe because of that ease, I don't really drink their stuff regularly. But it's about time I picked up another pint. Cheers!
Video idea: you have never really done any talks about how you do route planning or how your run planning might affect or be affected by your goals. That could be a really interesting series
I love all of your content, a mix of running advice, running shoe comparisons, and also when you run trails/roads and your races, it is all fun and all good. If anything, you need to broadcast more on social media platforms. Also, I do understand time constraints and your daily obligations. Of course, when you are middle aged and single like me no children and I am an avid runner as well since 1978. So, your broadcasts give me something to look forward to daily. Glad to know that you are physically getting better. Take care of yourself and before you know it you will be running again. #GlobalDeMoorRunningStrong🙂💪🏃🏻♂️👟
You have done an outstanding job with your videos during this period. I'm on 2 to 3 days rest due to knee and hip joint pain. I'm preparing for the Long Beach Marathon on October 9th. Take care.
I started watching for the shoe reviews but that in and of itself has not kept me watching. Some of my favourites of your vlogs have been those when you have travelled to a race or simply driven to a nearby destination in order to run in the mountains. Your injury has certainly been problematic but it is a lesson to all of us about this sport which we love and which you do such an outstanding job promoting. I look forward to your full recovery and good health. Good health is what you are really promoting. Thank you!
