Eddie is the absolute best guitar interpreter on the innerwebs, helps me get it from my ears to my fingers! Much respect, big thanks for your approach!
Oh. My. God. Something in my brain just clicked! Was just about to put the guitar down as my brain just isn't getting it today but then youtube just gifted me with this vid! A-mazing! Thank you!!!
I love your videos I've learned so much in the last 4 years from you, I'm sorry that I haven't started the courses but I'm severely disabled and I'm trying to make a living it's rough. But Thank You so Very much
This is fun. It’s a fun exercise to work out my fingers and get the deck theory and accuracy down. I’m gonna play this a lot over the next week or so try to get it dialed in. I noticed that I’m not putting the rhythmic pressure on the strings are in the video.that really gets me messed up, but I know I can learn it.
This helped me out. Funny how simple exercizes can be so effective, yet overlooked sometimes. You explain things very well, to make it easier to learn. Thank you so much. Ralph.
Great Lesson! An easy way to remember the notes for a scale is knowing how the guitar is tuned, EADGBE, then use that, if you're playing on the 5th fret of the E string you're playing the next note (A) in the sequence of how the guitar is tuned, that is how I figure what note is what quickly.
Awesome as always! As a beginner, I believe you are using all down strokes with the pick. Is that more useful than alternate picking in these 12-bar blues? Does it make the notes and progression more distinct to down pick? Help with timing?
There is a bit of a percussive attack that you get from doing only downstrokes! But there’s no rule saying you can’t employ alternate picking when playing this either :)
