Hey, Kevin! Finally getting around to watching the recording of the livestream. Lots of great topics covered. I was in BGC back in January and really liked it. I think you'll enjoy living there. It is somewhat of a bubble, but what's wrong with that? I can understand why your Filipino friends would get offended by people saying BGC isn't the real Philippines. It's just a more upscale area, as you said like Beverly Hills would be considered. Why can't the real Philippines include that? Enjoy the rest of your time in KL!
Did you say you earn $2k per month just from recording a livestream once a week? That's badass. Congrats. What motivated you to monetize RUclips, as it sounds like you live a somewhat modest life and earn plenty from your pension and dividends ? I didn't even know that RUclips had livestreams. :D
Missed the livestream! Just wanted to ask, I'm planning a trip to Vietnam in January for 2 weeks (just to Hanoi, Da Nang and Hoi An to be precise). I took a trip to Thailand a few months ago and stayed mostly up north in Chiang Mai. Would you recommend Vietnam and what were your thoughts on Hanoi? How do you compare with Thailand? I'm an introvert too if that helps and I'm not keen on overly crowded party type places and nor do I drink or party. Thanks in advance!
So I do recommend Hanoi but it’s very different from Thailand. It’s much more conservative. I have only been to Hanoi so I can’t really comment on the other parts. Hanoi isn’t a party place but it’s definitely overcrowded. Maybe look at Nha Trang…lets populated and an affordable beach town. I haven’t been but my friends love it.
We just booked a Mediterranean cruise and I'm not wanting to do another. So much homework... Research every country's visa requirements. Research land tours. Research how to get to the port. Research how to leave the final port. Research specialty dining options. It's too stressful. 😂 BGC isn't really the Philippines. It's kind of a Western bubble surrounded by Manila.😁

i enjoyed making vids about the places i traveled and got lucky that i found an audience
