Great video. Eventually got it going. I'd like to mention that in some markets it seems Samsung only supplies a 'Smart Remote' that doesn't have the complete set of keys and buttons. I was unable to enter Service Mode with that style of remote. I borrowed a Traditional remote from an older Samsung Smart TV and this worked perfectly. I entered service mode first attempt and enabled BT audio from Engineering section. This remote situation drove me crazy so hopefully this helps others.
I have samsung smart tv 6220.
I tried the "Info + menu + mute + power" but not response.
Tried the "mute + 1 + 8 + 2" and it worked. However, even after I turned BT on, I still dont get the option to pair headphones.

This is brilliant, but it fails to tell you where you may experience difficulties. But the message here is ‘persevere’, as what is presented here works. The first problem I experienced was regarding the Samsung remote. It was not the same as the one shown in the Video, but once I figured out the appropriate buttons the service menu appeared. Secondly, pairing the headphones proved difficult to the point where I felt that my headphones being budget ones were not going to be picked up. I nearly gave up thinking I would have to buy better headphones. But once again being persistent proved successful. I kept clicking the refresh button and eventually my Q7 Bluetooth headphones appeared.
I have had my TV for over 3 years and I was getting fed-up with not being able to use any headphones with it. I was just about to go down the spending route when I found this video. Yes it works, but I can also understand why Samsung has not enabled the bluetooth headphone feature on my 7 series TV - since I have enabled my bluetooth headset I have a new problem. If I go from watching a youTube video through the headphones to the TV, I lose the sound in the headphone, and cannot get the normal TV speakers working. I was forced to turn the power off by the plug (got a little worried at this point) to restore the sound. Also if you enable the bluetooth headphones whilst watching the TV when you swith to either Internet or USB input you lose all the sound. So not perfect and may still have to consider buying a Bluetooth adapter.
My tv apparently had the BT settings already activated, but still doesn't detect my beats studio wireless.

Thank you! I followed your instructions exactly and finally I am able to listen to my new Samsung TV via bluetooth headphones. It was so frustrating to try to follow the instructions on the regular menus and get nowhere; I googled the question and nothing worked until I found your video. Great job. However, now, when I turn off BT devices, I can no longer control volume for standard mode. Is it necessary to go all the way back through the special engineer menu to toggle BT on/off each time one wants to switch between standard audio and BT audio? Thanks.

Worked on my UE48H6700! At one point however I did go into the wrong section in the service menu. It was a category that said Delete S/N and the number zero. As i was navigating around the zero is now 1. I'm worried I wiped out my serial or something. Anyway I powered off and back again and I have the Bluetooth Headset option and everything else seems ok. However a warning, all my Picture Settings were reset (contrast, brightness, sharpness etc) but I had a record of these. So kudos to you

Very interesting but...please explain the sequence you used once you shut tv off-you hit 3 buttons in a fast manner but my eyes did not pick up which buttons you selected-please tell me which buttons they were that brought up that new menu where you could pair the headphones. thank you oh yes also, will this work when we try and watch youtube? my RF headphones only pick up what the cable box has viewing. One more thing, will I be able to also listen from the tv (wife and I both watch at same time but she likes headphones. thanks

I'd like to know if it is the same in order to acces the set up menu to any tv it doesn´t matter the brand mark?. For instance I have a Sony bravia and the control remote is very similar, and I am having problems to connect my bluethooth headset (samsung level U) to the tv.
Hey quick question for you I've tried this a couple times and I'm not sure if I'm doing it right. When you do your sequence on your remote is the TV on or off when you start?
If one of you guys dont have the same option is because your TV is not bluetooth capable, Samsung TVs models which are bluetooth capables are 6400 Series or higher. BTW nice video dude! not even a samsung technitian like me can explain it better.

Thanks for a very useful video. My Samsung UE40D8000 smart TV (bought in 2011 or 2012) supports 3D, and it communicates with Samsung's 3D shutter glasses using Bluetooth. I'm hoping this means that I should be able to enable pairing with Bluetooth headphones.... However, although I can access the manufacturer's "secret" menu OK, there's no "Engineer options" selection within the options menu. I had a look at the update video but it doesn't help with this particular problem. Any suggestions as to why I have no Engineer options? Is it a feature of the D8000 series of TVs?
On a slightly different topic, as someone else has commented, I found that just going into the secret menu (without changing anything) changes the colour settings on the TV. It's easy enough to set them back as they were, but it's worth mentioning that this happens - at least it does on my particular model of TV.
Hello, I have the UE40F6670SS. The website says it has BT HID built in, I guess that means it has bluetooth. I changed the engineering menu as you said. I can't find bluetooth speakers in the menu. Is there something else tath has to be changed? Or will they pop up when I put headphones in a pairing mode (haven't bought them yet, because I want to be sure they work on my tv)? I have a samsung UE46F6500 . I toggled bluetooth on as you demonstrated. But I do not have the Soundshare settings under Menu/Sound/Speaker Settings. What can I do?
I just tried this yesterday on my 60" 3-D and it worked (UN60H7150A), however I had to get to the secret menu using MUTE, 1-8-2 POWER ON. The Headphone options showed up, thanks, now I can watch TV and not worry about having it too loud.

Hi. I have a question. I believe it may be done though the same secret menu. I live in germany and I am Polish. I wanted to install polish apps but since my TV is localized in Germany, Polish apps seem to not be available. I have heard that I could access any apps if the TV is set up for "hotel settings" - do you know anything about that please?

Thank you so much for your great video on how to find the secret menu on Samsung TV to pair BT headphones. I was able to get to the secret menu with the Mute-182-power on sequence. I changed the BT audio from off to on. And then I went into the Speaker Settings (under Sound), but there were no headphones listed (even though my headphones were on and in pairing mode). I also tried it with a BT speaker, and that didn't show up either. Here is what shows up when I select the Speaker Settings menu: Speaker Settings and under that it says TV Sound Output with TV Speaker beside that. Then the next line down says TV Speaker and under that it says TV Installation Type with Stand beside that. That's all that shows up on that screen. I went back into the secret menu to verify that BT Audio was still on. I tried several times with the headphones and the BT speaker, but they don't show up. Any advice?? I was so excited to find your video and so excited to get into the secret menu. I feel like I'm getting close. I hope you can help me get the rest of the way.......

thank you the video is quite interesting, and well explained. problem occurs where model UNF6400, the remote is different from that you show in this video, or your other video with the update to fix. the remote on F6400 for instance, is the small black one with touch pad, not keys and numbers. so how to enter the engineering menu on bootup?
+g shah hi; something is strange because i see that only the F series have this problem; if we want to have success we have to contact all, Samsung and make pressure with messages; something is wrong not letting the F series users to enjoy they er TV's. And we got to make sure our TV in F series have BT-HID. I still see people on comments that tell us this didn't work and they don't have bluetooth integrated. Let's work together. Contact Samsung!

I tried the settings on my Samsung Smart TV but I accidentally changed the settings in the Config_AV_Path menu and now my HDMI-ARC plugged into HDMI1 is not longer working properly! Please if you can message me and I will provide more troubleshooting info. Is there a way to set the Engineering settings to factory default?

hi; i think there aren't adapters to buy; because adapters transmit from phone to the adapter; and i don't know if are there from adapter to phone... i told in the video about the adapter but i think there aren't so this solution is best!

Hi I technology reviews, I was able to enable the Bluetooth option in the sound settings. but even upon refresh, my Bluetooth is not visible in the options. Any advise in this? I have subscribed to your channel also.
