The jeans and flannel is my husband that's why I never get anything ,but a long cold weekend of disappointment. I wear mossy oak for years wuth pants and now I see how important it is to see yourself in deer vision.
Thanks, I am trying to do a full system of these longer vids for a bunch of environments, then follow with a new round of renewed camo showdowns that will do better for comparisons
Excellent video, I love the concept and the amount of thought that went into it. I also really like that you added flannel and jeans for comparison. Maybe add some solids in for comparison as well; solid gray, OD green, brown etc. Great work, subscribed.
Again, thanks for the video. This looks a lot like my land, like a lot a lot. For the price, it's hard not to just go Huntworth. Deer view Tarnen looked like a good value choice to me. Yeah, there's options that look better, or disappear a bit more. But... It's hard to justify spending 2, 3, or even 4x more given the level of difference that I've been able to discern. I pulled the trigger on a thorough Tarnen set, and I'll be giving it a go starting tomorrow. If I'm wrong, I guess there's always next year. In which case I'll be back to view more of your sweet videos.
Tarnen is a good pattern and Huntworth prices are great. I hope it does well for you. But definitely come back. My camo Showdowns will be improved also.
It would be interesting to see How will duck canvas pants and jacket Would do Some deer are close to the same color And there could be hard to see I love your conscience a lot of thoughts went into it
At first I was highly considering first light specter but the more research I do I'm leaning more towards Kuiu Valo or Sitka Elevated ll for whitetail hunting all season
All are good patterns, elevated II is great for treestand hunting late in the season as the sky opens up with leas vegetation. I like valo for all season long.
@@TheHoundsman good idea. If your hunting is mostly stationary and it gets cold, the layering systems for the expensive brands may not be worth it to achieve warmth while sitting still. I have sat shivering in one of the higher end brands thinking I made a mistake trying the layering system when a lower end big ol'puffy coverall should have been my choice. (which I may still get)
No Sitka ? I’m outraged. Haha JK but would have been interesting to compare it to some of the more affordable brands. Biggest take away is the stuff with the light colors that may look counterintuitive to us, seem to work better. The light and dark shades are essential to getting the contrast necessary to break up an outline and blend in with a background. More and more manufacturers are going to these high contrast patterns.
Its funny because i took selfies of me wearing first lite specter and realtree edge and the camos are so close to having the same same color schemes in real life its funny.
@@CamoMatrix i did that the other day they were pretty close....the green on the edge is more vivid where the specter is more matte....but the rest of the shades are almost identical....
yeah, we would have to go full on Arnold Predator to be unseen, I can't wait for that! I did shoot a 7 point a few years ago while still hunting wearing Forest in during october from about 15 yard. He looked at me for a few seconds and turned his head away (when I drew the bow). It wasn't really the camo but the coloring of Forest probably helped some.
Well SOB! I will do one with Prym1 next.. they must have just updated their site, i had them on one earlier in the year but availability seemed to be difficult. I just reached out to then about actual product photos. Thanks!
@@CamoMatrix awesome I’d also love to see the tactical camo patterns 6 color desert and tiger stripe vs like the woodland and multi cam if it would be possible I think both of them are good camo for hunting.
Super impressed with Realtree Edge for the price.

Which Mossy Oak patterns?
Another great comparison as usual. Thanks for doing these, definitely gives you an idea on what camo would be good for late season.

Solids are coming in the future. Thanks for watching. A whole new line of camo showdowns will be coming also with better quality and views.
You guys do a great job. Much appreciated
Thanks. I have improved since that one.

Here in East Georgia real tree edge hasn't let me down.
It’s a good camo pattern. Good light and dark separations.
I'm glad I got KUIU VALO pattern in their Yukon rain parka because it blends FAR better than their other two patterns.
Kuiu is a great quality brand

Interesting concept. Maybe I can do a “normal” clothing version with deer vision and see what works best.

@@CamoMatrix Yeah I think I'm leaning heavily towards Kuiu Valo ima just do some more research because that's a huge investment

Kind of surprised how well Multicam and Mossy Oak Break-Up fared👍
Most of them do pretty good.
@@CamoMatrix wooo I don't feel so bad going crazy buying up all the Browning Wasatch stuff now

I lost the first lite specter. To my eye it was the best
Great comparison! Would it be possible to add price to videos?
I am working towards that!
I wear UA. Forest early season and Barren late season and it works. I won't say the deer can't see you because thats a lie.

Kryptex altitude and fl spectre
Asat, nomad whitetail, and real tree edge...
ASAT is good stuff!
