    Thank you for this video. It was the perfect timing for me. I am bedridden with long Covid/CFS and spending a lot of time in shutdown mode lately so I’m having a lot of ruminating thoughts, fear and sadness. I really like the idea of considering that only a part of me is experiencing this but it doesn’t define me as a person.

    Thank you, Rebecca❣️ Your thorough explanation on all of these different Jewels of Help are wonderful; your sensitivity and quote choices only add to your supportive and magical nature that reflects to us what we already are, deep inside 🥰 Our thoughts can overrun our daily life and before we know it’s the end of the day and we’re completely out of breath. Being Mindful & Aware of our Body can turn it all around & transform into a beautiful moment, turning the day around completely! I find listening to natural Bird Songs on a 10 hour RUclips video really helps during a stressful workday, but sometimes I will listen to a “baby soothing” video where someone softly says “shhhh“ …it really calms my Inner Child❣️ Thank you, & a deep Namaste bow to you, Lovely Soul Soother✨🕊️✨

What great tips to listen to birdsong or a baby soothing video. Sometimes, I listen to nature sounds but I'll have to try these specifically! Deep namaste bow back to you.🕊

    This is great! Thank you so much for your videos, it gives me so much hope. I wonder, any insights why every time I start being more constant with brain retraining and somatic practices or meditations, my symtoms get way worse and I develop insomnia and anxiety, it always happens the first week I start using the tools, which makes me to stop for a while and then going in circles again 😢

      You're so welcome! There can be different reasons for this. Often, people are pursuing these practices with an agenda of fixing the symptoms, which can ironically flare them up. An intense attitude can also rev up the nervous system. We also want to learn to respond mindfully to the symptoms. Have you watched this video?

    Hi Rebecca. I have exactly the same symptoms that you had and I know you practiced yoga? I’m getting into a yoga practice and finding it a challenge because of crashing and fatigue/ pain afterwards. I’m just wondering how you tackled your yoga practice.? Did you do restorative? Yin?. I have been doing chair yoga which is helping me slightly. Any tips or if you could perhaps do a video on how you managed to get into yoga. Thank you so much xx

      @sarahc6154
      Hi Sarah! Yes, yoga was and still is a big part of my life. I love it so much! During my symptomatic years, I did mostly restorative or yin yoga. In my recovery, I started doing slow flows to challenge myself. But I used the mind-body framework of not fearing the symptoms. I expanded my activities, including yoga, with mindful attention and somatic awareness. In fact, I offer various yoga and movement practices in my Be Your Own Medicine course because it can be a very helpful part of recovery. I hope this helps and wish you Namaste!

    Rebecca, do you think you can heal from anxiety if it’s been a part of your life for 25 years? I was 19 when I had my first panic attack and since then it’s taken over my life and since having cfs the last 10 years, anxiety has taken an even bigger hold. I fear I’m a lost cause if my anxiety is so entrenched in my pathways it will prevent me healing.

    • @rebeccatolinmind-bodycoach
      @rebeccatolinmind-bodycoach  15 дней назад +1

      @Juliee79
      Yes, I absolutely think people can heal from anxiety no matter how long it's been around! Our brain is neuroplastic for our entire lives. I've seen people recover from anxiety and other mind-body symptoms after three, four or five decades! Anxiety will try to convince you otherwise, but you can learn a new way. I'm so sorry for your longtime suffering and know it can take a toll. But I'm happy you've found me and this approach! If you want support in your recovery, you might try my free somatic meditation and check out my course!
