About Dude Dad:
Hi! I'm Taylor Calmus, a Colorado-based actor/comedian. I started Dude Dad© two weeks before my son Theo was born as a way to stay creative while learning to be a father. My wife Heidi and I now have 3 kids and over 300+ videos. My purpose for the channel is to entertain, enlighten and inspire.
In addition to Dude Dad©, I have been in numerous TV shows, commercials, and have regular appearances on Jimmy Kimmel Live. I will also be hosting my own TV show called "Super Dad" on the new Magnolia Network / Discovery+. Heidi and the kids will also be a part of the show. I am originally from the rural community of Howard, South Dakota.

I love these boat videos. Makes me want to get a boat to take my son out when he’s a bit older and more stable walking. Thanks for all the laughs and great content over the years. Parenting can be tough at times, and your videos make me realize the tough times are all part of the journey and now I’ve learned to appreciate both the fun times and the hard times

While you make getting up look easy. Checkout the back of the boat balance launch. It’s easier and the only way I can get up. Stand on board. Half the board in the water. Half on the boat. Boat goes and then surfer drops off. No rope needed. 👍🏼🙌🏼

Glad you are using a wake boat on a big reservoir in the middle of the lake. No worries of erosion or messing with nesting birds. Being responsible. My pet peeve with wake boats is they can be dangerous to other smaller craft, and wildlife. (Inland smaller lakes never make these kind of waves.) I have a smaller 16 ft 75hp boat that if too close can be capsized by a boat like that in the wrong conditions. Let alone a little Jon boat or a smaller flat bottom boat. You should do a RUclips video on the type of different boaters and there pet peeves. It used to be the jet ski guys were the ones who got all the hate.
