Actually, Elon Musk does bear a certain resemblance to Zafod Beeblebrox, president of the galaxy and the ultimate narcissist, but he was a bit of a caricature, don't you think? Adams was taking the p!ss. It's bizarre and downright disturbing to think someone could regard Zafod as a role model...
Also you got the story wrong. The computer was called Deep Thought (a reference to Deep Blue - the computed that beat Kasparov at Chess). Earth WAS the larger computer that was made afterwards to work out the question to the answer.
I'll be honest with you. I like Elon Musk a whole lot more than I like Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. I tried to read that book once and it was inscrutable to me. DNF. Then I tried to watch the movie and as weird as it was it bored me terribly. Maybe too many bells and whistles? I couldn't get into it. But Elon is impressive no matter what people think politically. His scientific successes (and understanding) and business building are phenomenal. And his humility and accessibility are amazing as well.
It started as a radio series - which is far better than either as the episodic nature is less intrusive. If you can get hold of it from the BBC it is worth a go.
Interesting premise, might have to go back to the book to double check xo
The original TV series was pretty good too, Emily. Everyone likes Marvin the paranoid android!
Look, Elon's just this guy, you know ...😀
Rumours are that he is human!

What Elon is achieving is literally out of this world! It's like he has his own improbability drive!
Zaphod was, at least, charismatic. And, I think, deeper...

I stand corrected again. Thanks for stopping by and good reading to you.
Erm...Earth does not come up with the answer. Deep Thought comes up with the answer, and Earth is constructed to provide the Question.

I'm certainly no fan of Elon but I find your idea compelling.
Thanks for the comment. I hope you are reading something great. Best wishes to you.

Agreed. I think Elon is clearly a phenomenon. So productive. Best wishes and happy reading to you.
@@keithhealing1115 Not heard the original radio show but I did enjoy the tv series. Not watched the film. Best wishes.
