Ayaneo really wants a device in every single category out there. I do wish they'd focus a bit more on better consumer support and lower prices but I guess this is working for them
My experience with there customer support has been fantastic
Why you guys always try to find an issue in Aya Neo? Their support is better than even Valve and Asus currently..... Give me one brand of those that will give you free speaker upgrade for your older gen device, or even full cooling system upgrade for free.... Also they answer immediately all the questions raised and have nice community in Reddit and discord
@@TRX25EXI hope they're at least paying you a living wage
@@SergioSergio12345 I wish, at least I won't be a stupid hater complaining with 0 experience with the brand just using claims instead than facts
@@TRX25EX Womp womp
Ayaneo out here writing the handbook of how to attract the attention of all the most litigious companies on the planet
nintendo is going to sue them to kingdom come
@@polarvortex6601For what? It’s not like these are strait copies
@@turnbasedtoddy7664 Exactly, I'm sure they would have loved to make them look more similar. Personally I'd enjoy a departure from their normal design language.. All their devices look like a SpaceX ship lmao
Nah this is still nothing compared to Dbrand lol
You cracked me up!!! 😂
Finally some DS alike handhelds, excited to see how it performs.
Get ready for driver hell.
I like the aesthetics of the mini PCs. A lot of products these days are very samey and minimalistic, so making some modern spec tech products, but with a well loved pre-2010s design really peaked my interest
The Ayaneo Slide, A design that made sense to me for years! Ever since the Nokia N95 that lacked the technology at its time.
But I always wondered what's the excuse now?
I mean since online gaming became a thing text chat accessibility was always an obvious problem, it's really hard to text landscape style in almost every console, it's an obvious idea that just waited for people to notice it.
This is a monumental step forward for game emulation. There are some retro systems that you just can't perfectly recreate the experience of playing, not because of a lack of processing power but simply because of how unique that hardware layout is. In some cases this can be alleviated easily (buying a 6-button controller for Saturn games, or a USB N64 controller), but with other systems like the DS, 3DS, Wii, and Wii U that isn't the case. Having a modern device on the market with dual touch screens makes emulating 3 of the 4 aforementioned systems a far more authentic experience (provided there's enough power to run Wii U games).
That DS design is exactly what I've been after.
Virtual DJ / Mixxx
One monitor for the decks and playback information.
One monitor for the library.
Plug a midi controller in, can't wait 😍
Same here, but VCV and Ableton instead lol
Too bad an Asus Zenbook Duo will always be better for that kinda stuff
Have you seen the size of the screen and what it can show? You won't be doing any of that on it
As someone who has owned a ds and 3ds, I really want the Ayaneo Flip to experience those memories again
I love the slide for sure ❤
Wheres my IBM PC inspired one?
The Aya Neo Flip, with the second screen, just looks great. if it can properly emulate 3DS, then I may not be able to stop myself from buying it despite owning many other satisfactory devices.
Exactly my thoughts
In part, yes. But I also feel like it's 10 years too late.
Me personally, I want it to be able to play with and against other authentic DSes and 3DSes (E.g. pokemon battles, chatting, etc.)
Oh, and don't forget streetpass.
@@kxg9000 That's probably on the mercy of emu devs rather than AyaNeo.
@@JuanPablo-ho7fg nope. It's the perfect time, because 10 years ago, those consoles where still on the market. Now they're retro
Definitely the Flip DS. Finally we have a handheld to play DS and 3DS games comfortably with.
The slide one is a dream come true for me.
Aya Neo Flip DS is awesome! I am definitely thinking of the possibilities with having a secondary screen for discord or other things whilst gaming
If the Flip DS has correctly sized screens and power enough to run DS and 3DS games it might be worth picking up.
That Flip and Slide ones look the most interesting
I absolutly love my homebrewed 3ds so being able to play pc games on a ds like form factor is super cool, would love to try out the Flip DS
That dual screen one looks sweet. The first device that actually looks good for DS emulation.
Not quite there because of the bigger gap. Would have been great otherwise.
Been waiting for a dual screen emulation handheld for DS for a while now; glad to hear they're making one
That dmg looks like a worthwhile dupe of the Analogue Pocket, and depending on the screen and emulation performance it could be even better. Excited to see!
My brother from another mother
That would be wild to have something in the DMG form factor with a x86 PC inside.
They really need the competition, very good
AyaNeo must have a squad of Oompa Loompas to assemble all these handhelds/products they tease from time to time.
These are exactly what I Imagined in my childhood, sick!
The DS one is sick if it can also handle 3DS games. One gripe is I wish the bottom screen was closer to the hinge for those DS games that sometimes combine images across the 2.
If that ds design doesn't have hall effect sticks/analog I'm not getting it
Most excited about sticking with my Analogue Pockets :P
The flips ds would be so nice to have discord or RUclips in the bottom screen
I will be very surprised if the Mac inspired case manages to get out without getting sued to oblivion. Love the idea.
they're china based so most likely not. also not to mention there's that macintosh charger
Extra salt if it runs windows.
Apple don't seem to mind people copying their external design, they just don't want it running their software.
The flip and the Pocket DMG are quite interesting
DUDE IVE NEVER BEEN SO EXCITED FOR THE DS FLIP
I love the new re brand Aya Neo is doing. I wish them success
The Ayaneo slide could be a great little device - retro gaming plus the ability to SSH into my home server etc when I'm out and about
POCKET DMG is my most interested
I like that there trying new things!
I absolutely love the retro PC. I'm a definite sucker for a retro form factor
The Ayaneo Flip is a good idea for a potential AyaNeo Slide & Flip handheld/clamshell 2-in-1 hybrid.
+ Replace the keyboard with a FULL-sized screen the same as the top screen.
+ The controls are shifted to the sides and could become detachable.
+ The top screen can both slide up or down like the Ayaneo slide that can play like a regular handheld
or
slide up for a dual screen style game device (like the Nintendo DS, 3DS etc)
AND
the top screen can fold down close over the device just like a clamshell.
i.e. slide up and fold down.
The device would be thick, BUT this could be mitgated by making the device bigger at 9+"
I really like the look of these coming consoles and cannot wait to see how they perform once people can get their hands on them!
The Aya Neo DS seems interesting. A 6" or 7" screened device which actually fits in your pocket and can emulate anything and play PC games is basically my endgame handheld.
The mac mini pc looks amazing, my wife wants one to replace her older desktop.
The DS flip is fantastic, that's what I have been looking for
The DMG is maybe a bit late, I have a miyoo mini + and it does everything I need.
literally vibrating at the thought of that DS one
really cool to see a company that started as a kickstarter to build a single product evolve into this
the slide looks freaking awesome
Crossed fingers for an AyaNeo MiniDisc player!
I've been waiting for something like the flip DS for so long
Can’t wait for them to remake those remakes right after people pre order them LOL and then the never ending remakes of those devices after.
Also I think I should pick up a 3DS now before these shows up last thing I need it get 100+ pages of that flip device everytime I try to look up a 3ds on sale.
You mad bro?
That B-Roll footage you shared got me all excited for a moment. They were showing off how one of their new products was inspired by the T-Mo G1 and Motorola Milestone and I was thinking, "OMG, is Ayaneo going to be making a side sliding Android gaming phone‽ TAKE MY MONEY!!!" Then it turned out to be that chunky sliding PC console that can't make phone calls, that we already knew about... It's super cool; but, kind of a let down based off the marketing build up.
Something that isn't a let down is that DMG style handheld. I really like the Ayaneo Pocket Air; but, it seems like it completely flopped in the marketplace due to the Odin 2 vacuuming all the air out of the room by offering an 8G2 for the same money as Ayaneo's Dimensity 1200 powered unit. Maybe if the Pocket Air were repackaged into a more portable DMG style form factor then people would see the Dimensity 1200 as being an okay compromise vs. the 8G2?
Right now the most powerful vertical handheld is the lusty $120 Anbernic RG405V running a Unisoc Tiger 618. It's better than fine, especially for the price. However; there's appears to be a huge hole above it in the marketplace for something even more performant, and the D1200 SoC they've already invested in developing for can run everything up to low end Switch.
The pseudo DS is very cool; but, is probably going to be very expensive. The Mini PCs are made for someone else. I generally skip those videos whenever the people I'm subscribed to cover them. I don't remember if there was anything else showcased.
the slide is cool, ahh I miss my LG enV 3
I hate the lack of dates, but it all looks amazing
Really, all I want out of these retro handhelds in something that can reliably emulated up to the 3DS and Vita with that precious secondary screen to handle dual screen games natively.
That's basically my finish line to buy one.
Flip DS, if the second screen can be used properly with ds / 3ds emulation, ultimate bigbox portable experience
The Ayaneo Flip looks like a Pandora except without the constant production shortage hell.
Why did they put a screen on the NES-inspired one, but not the Mac-inspired one?
If they dont make it cheap, and available worldwide, they are gonna left behind in the dust
If Aya Neo can remake the fat PS2 & PS3 + OG Xbox 360 designs & slap Ryzen motherboards into those, I would buy them. What's next Ayaneo, remaking Mattel Hyperscan & slap SD G3x Gen 2 chipset into it?
If they make a retro gaming oriented phone, im throwing all my money at it
Dude with the Lenovo Legion Go having removable controllers, dual screens trending, and clamshell designs making a comeback..i hope the Steam Deck 2 is all in one
Looks super cool💥
On the flip ds, if it comes in at our below the ebay price for a 3ds xl or 2ds xl I'm game
The future of technology is coming
Oh man! I’d be very interested in that Flip DS (my DS is on of my favorite consoles)!
That mini pc looks cool and that retro handheld
But where did they find time and money to give updates to all of their devices?😮
That Flip DS oh man that be it for me.
The flip ds is a great one for 3ds emulation, but it depends a bit on the price if it will be worth it.
That mac style retro mini pc looks amazing, but that am02 also looks great. Might have to pick one up
This is neet! I would love a raspberry pi DMG with a pi 5
I'm loving that mini pc!!
I mean if the flip ds with its 2 screens acts like a ds when emulating. would spike my curiosity.
Really cool designs, they're very cute! I'm all for retro-modern styling with these kind of devices.
Ayaneo stated the ayaneo flips will use a 7840u apu, top screen 120hz.
And if you look closely you coule see what looks like an oculink port on th3 back
Damn I'm just waiting for some more info on the Pocket S
The second screen is great to play ds emulation!
I'm extremely interested in that Flip, with the keyboard config, if that thing can fit in my hands and allow my thumbs to touch while holding, I'll be going after that for sure. If GPD does that layout better, I'll go with them instead, but the thought of a portable, pocketable console and daily driver in one is entirely so appealing. Literally the pinnacle of information-sharing and recreation of mankind. This would be the final frontier before Mankind considers VR operations. I want to get my hands on the last thing that can do it all before VR.
I thought the dual screen thing was patented and that's why no one copied it. Did that patent expire? If so, it could be fun to see dual screen emulators come out.
Totally awesome....😁😁😁👍👍👍
I can’t wait!
I would buy the flip ds in a second! Playing ds games upscaled with dual analog controls would be so sick. The dmg looks ok but i doubt they can do better than the analogue pocket although the could probably beat them easily with availability.
would be neat that the NES look a like has a working cartridge hatch where you swap 2.5 SSDs like a cartridge, especially how massive some games are getting, we can resort to SSD cartridges (no blowing required).
I'm most looking forward to the Flip DS.
I'm a big fan of the aya neo slide. Would love one of those.
That NES PC looks great. Not willing to pay extra over a regular design mini pc though.
Hmm. The Gameboy is cool. Hopefully it gets 7840u lol need that for Retro games.
is it a screen on that mac mini pc ? thats looks neat
The minis look amazing. Just hope it’s not too pricey.
Mini pc looks sooo cool
Interesting designs and devices. But no Usb4? Have you looked at the Minisforum UM780 XTX yet? USB4 and oculink (you do have to give up 1 nvme slot)
Ds is very cool, Mac is gorgeous, but the DMG interests me most. I've been dying for a vertical with display as good as the Anologue Pocket, so I hope this is it. I don't like the apparent single joystick, though. Two or none at all would be better.
Slide and Flip are the most interesting to me... looking forward to see how those designs will pan out.
But it's mostly just windows shopping at this point. I'm likely going with either the Steam Deck refresh, or Asus ROG Ally... I've been deciding between those two for a while now.
I'd go with Steam Deck if only Valve released it officially in my country. The Ally has released officially in my country but up until recently it was insanely expensive.... I actually almost bought it a couple of weeks ago, decided to wait a bit more, and since then the price has dropped twice already, on the official website.
Thing is, I really want Steam OS. But I also really want local warranty and support. I'm just not ready to spend that much money on something I can't even get support or replacement for if it breaks, and unfortunately this eliminates all Chinese brands for me.
I can't wait for the flip.
What I want to know is how can Ayaneo continue to sell the Ayaneo 2 at almost twice the price of a Steamdeck/Ally? What are we getting for that premium price?
If they made the keyboard ones, bigger keyboard, added Sim card support
I'd be replacing my phone immediately
I bought the 353V, and hated my fingers fighting for back real estate. Edit: I would actually like that DMG be FPGA bases so we can have a rival to the Analogue pocket. We need more FPGAs out there.
I've been wanting to get one of those with the mini-laptop style that has the built-in joysticks. If the keyboard is clicky and it's not too costly I might get one of those.
I couldn't see if they talked about the Pocket S yet. Though i think they might have said they would talk about it in December.
Do they even work on NEXT II at this point?!?
I really like the flip dS
Flip DS plus a docker would be awesome
I love me some foldable. If it could function with ds and 3ds emulation, that'd be awesome
Ayaneo should make a gaming phone
Agreed 💯. When this video started and Ayaneo were showing off how they were inspired by the T-Mo G1/HTC Dream and the Moto Milestone/Droid I thought a side sliding gaming phone was what they were leading up to. Then it turned out to be that sliding PC handheld we already knew about. It disappointed me more than I've disappointed my parents.
Honestly, the one I am interested in next is the Pocket S, really^2 desirably with a working Linux Distro (Sorry ETA I know that that is sort of anti your software key sponsorship) on it if that really is in the works....I will admit though that the flip and slide look cool (flip is probably the most practical) and the Pocket DMG teaser also looks good, although I am quite fine playing gameboy+gameboyAdvance games on my Analogue Pocket, and after spending a lot of time with the Ayaneo Air Pro and going back to that thing you realize how unergonomic that design really is.
At this rate im focusing on saving for ryzen8000 lineup😂
This is where companies start getting into trouble with brand dilution. I like that GPD has like 3 gaming lines and that's it. But even their other products that aren't WINs aren't that varying. I think they're pretty looking and I like most of them, but Anbernic was having this problem. POWKIDDY DEFINITELY DOES. It gets hard to tell which one is the good one, which one is the meh one.
