How To Show 'Location Services' Icon In Status Bar On iPhone

Learn how to show the location service icon in status bar on iPhone
The 'Location Services' feature on your iPhone allows apps and services to access your device's location information for various purposes. By default, when an app is actively using your location, a small arrow icon appears in the status bar. However, you may find that the arrow icon doesn't appear in some cases, even when an app is actively using your location.
Follow the steps illustrated below to display the location service icon on the status bar on your iPhone;
1: Unlock your iPhone and go to the home screen. Open the "Settings" app. The Settings app icon looks like a gray gear. In the Settings menu, scroll down and tap on "Privacy & Security." It is usually located in the third group of options.
2: Inside the Privacy menu, tap on "Location Services." It is typically at the top of the list. You will see the "Location Services" toggle switch at the top. Ensure that it is turned on. If it is already enabled, proceed to the next step.
3: Scroll down to the bottom of the "Location Services" menu and tap on "System Services." In the System Services menu, scroll down and locate the "Status Bar Icon" option. It is near the bottom of the list. Tap on the toggle icon next to it to enable it.
After following these steps, the Location Services icon will appear in the status bar on your iPhone.
