Great help, thx. But actually the next patch is supposed to have some HUD options, and ubi forums have a nice array of mods too. Players can now customize pretty much anything HUD-related. No need to completely remove it anymore. It was kind of silly having no idea how many grenades or magazines or syringes you have left.
When an aggressive animal attacks you, you won't know what button to mash because it doesn't pop up lol i learned the hardway, i had to enable the hud at certain missions where an animal is going to attack you like the testing unit mission. i was like fuuuuuuuu.
its funny how they tried to give the game a feel of reality and then slapped a huge map on the screen. i dont use maps or life bars on any game as ii find it holds me back in the long run. now that they finally fixed this, the game finally looks lla

Playing any FPS game without HUD is make very immersive and realistic, especially when you're in the combat. I highly recommed you play this style.
I know I'm late but, turning the music off also makes the game more immersive. Just let the gunfire be your orchestra.

This is why I play on the PC
You can also remove the annoying prompt sounds, object blinking and map humm.
Yeh, an option for something like that should have been implemented to FPS games a long time ago.

Perhaps not due to low-end graphics card. The rest are good.
This game is near impossible to play at a fast pace with no HUD. Just the way I like it, like Project Reality, only without the compass.
