It's The Rat Pack with a very special VIP "plus one" in this sly Runyonesque musical revision of the Robin Hood legend, done up Chicago gangland style. Frank Sinatra stars as Robbo, caught up in a gang war with rival mobster Guy Gisborne (Peter Falk) after mob chieftain Big Jim (Edward G. Robinson, in an uncredited cameo) get the big rub-out. With allies Will (Sammy Davis, Jr,) and John (Dean Martin) at his side, Robbo gets suborned by Big Jim's daughter Marian (Barbara Rush) to ice the man that iced her dad to the tune of 50 Gs.
Directed By Gordon Douglas
Starring Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr.

Crosby is my father’s favourite singer especially on Christmas
These kids are like what, 70 now? That's like 9 years older than Bing Crosby is in this clip. One of these kids could be your grandpa!
my grandpa could be these kids grandpas, gramps was born in 1914, and im a zoomer myself mate.
@@kaiserjimbo1943 I mean... theoretically, I guess. But having like a 25-30-ish age difference between your oldest and youngest child seems to me rather unlikely no matter the era.
Bing Crosby is like a grandfather with these kids
They killed that footwork❣
“I think there’s something wrong with his throat”.
I like how most of the first part is one take
everything used to be one take, actors & singers & entertainers were actually talented back then. To think of Sammy Davis' bang bang in this movie. Holy Lord.
This is one of my favorite movies and I still know the words to this song
A great scene with bing and children
One dislike? Someone decided to be a do badder
Five now people rly dont like talent bigger than their's
just watched the movie and this song made my night
Bob Hope , would probably say, in this scene the kids are teaching Bing how to dance, lol
can’t watch this without smiling
My grandpa use to watch this and it's his favorite, how wonderful 🥰
These were the days when talent really mattered.
Still matters today but there's so many talentless wannabes that are put on a pedestal of celebrity which infuriates me!
Oh fuckkk off
You are just objectively wrong. You all disgusting
@@PlayNiceFolks 😂fool
This was my favorite song and scene in this movie when I saw it at summer camp in '73. Not only are Bing and the boys at their best, but there's an unusually good ethnic mix for '64: black, Latino, oriental. Thanks for posting!

I love this song
Bing Crosby !!!
FABOULOUS SONG BY BING N CHILDREN 🌟⭐🌟⭐🌟🌟🌟🌟
MOVIE EXCELLENT 🎥🎥🎥🎥
Should brilliant talent from both the man and the children. I wonder what happened to all those children?
My ex boyfriend's dad is the little African American boy dancing with Crosby at the 3 minute mark!!! He chose to raise his family instead and got out of showbiz but has a tap school where he teaches tap in Vegas currently
@@choctawgirl26 Manuel Padilla Jr (he was also Jai in the 60's TV show Tarzan with Ron Ely) little Hospanic boy died unexpectedly just after making a public appearance at the Grand National Roadster Show in Pomona, California January 29, 2008 .
Doctor Bing is back
So nice.
Feels almost like a Christmas song, also wish this song was on ITunes would fit in very well
AAAAAHHHH !!WONDERFUL MOVIE !!THE SONGS ARE SUPERB WITH THE GREATS !!BING CROSBY FRANK SINATRA DEAN MARTIN R.I.P. WHO GAVE US ENTERTAINMENT TO THE HILT !!!FROM (U.K.)
Were Crosby’s songs added after Lawford was written out of the film? I can’t imagine Peter Lawford singing it, it suits Bing
This great segment was cut from the VHS version and all of the TV versions I've seen. I hope it was restored on the DVD release which I have yet to see.
It's weird when scenes get cut between releases. Especially good scenes like this.
His voice sounded like a bell
This song is unsingable
With practice it is ... like the heart of the hardest hard shell shellfish
Will robin and the seven hoods ever make it on stream platforms?
Because it’s WB, HBO Max if anything
18 dislikes? Some people decided to be do badders
dis some good sheet
I thought Bing stole the show from all the other players in this movie, even Sinatra !
C était une grande époque, Crosby Sinatra D Martin Samy Davis et tant d autres O n en retrouvera jamais l équivalent mais bon
what scary pants!
So... that kid was just in the box the whole time?
How wonderful
"Coolest White Man in America." Artie Shaw. Nat King Cole. Angel. Baptist family. Preacher's son.
Gene Kelly had issues with the dance numbers in this movie? Why? Because he wasn't doing them? Sinatra did a great job producing this musical and he sure made Kelly look like a fool.
Is someone knows where you can find that movie?
Not bad for 61
What's the name of these kind of films
These kids kids now must be need 70 or 80 Shippuden this movie 2
...I was framed!
Where can I find this movie?

When it wasn't "cool" to be a do badder
The movie is about a hidden speakeasy under a church. Although I love them all, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., and Bing Crosby were all pretty heavy drinkers and smokers. Frank had Mafia affiliations as well. I love the arts from the time period, but don't be blind to the many faults of 1960's society.
@@pranavaw7376 Ya, the gangster with a heart of gold is a totally ridiculous concept but it's still a great musical & those were simpler times for sure
@@SorenKk You also have to remember those were simple times for white people, but even black celebrities like Sammy Davis Jr. suffered from a lot of discrimination. I can't deny how great of a time it was for music and culture, but overall, there were a lot of issues just as there always has and will be.
@@pranavaw7376 Funny you say that cuz i get lots of crap when i say that Sammy was the most talented & least recognized rat packer, i believe you're correct
@@SorenKk I don't listen to Sammy enough but I agree if he was white he would be as famous if not more than Dino and Frank.
It may be subjective but are we all Do Badders? And going to that place below? Insert "it is a Sepp Bladder!" joke here and acknowledge Hugh Dennis. By not mocking the supposedly weaker than you. Climbing the Other Way here, Boss.
"That's good parenting. Right, Bing Crosby."
"That's right, Peter. And if your kids give you any lip, you can beat em with a sack of smooth Valencia oranges. They won't leave a bruise and it'll let them know who's boss. There's no doubt about it"
"That, doesn't sound right."
"You giving me lip, boy. Cause I'll take this belt off and give you the smackdown."
"Hey, hey, stop it, you dead crooner."
Your comment is so tasteless. The allegations have all been proven to he false by now...
@@ep8324 it's from family guy....its called a joke. You giving me lip boy
shame the black kid had to have shoes on that were obviously not his size for the clown effect, great song though
doesn't seem to be to insult him, I mean this scene seems to be in a poorhouse for children, so perhaps those are the only shoes they have.
My ex boyfriend's dad IS the little black boy dancing with Crosby at the 3 minute mark. I can ask him to ask his dad the reasoning behind the shoes 😉
choctawgirl26, Re:”black kid’s shoes”, it has to do with the “film title” and the “period of time in which “Robin Hood” came from (in other words their ‘period of dress’ at that time). Errol Flynn’s version (a Classic in my opinion) will give you insight about these shoes.
@Jim Stark No need for the insult I just pointed out a glaring difference between black kid shoes and the others boys
@@choctawgirl26 wow really? I loved your ex-boyfriend's dad's performance in Together Brothers! If irs the same person 😂
