  • 🌱 Wood sorrel (Oxalis spp.) is a perennial herb that belongs to the Oxalidaceae family. It has three-lobed leaves that resemble clover and produces small, yellow, five-petaled flowers. The leaves and flowers are edible and have a tangy, lemony taste. Wood sorrel is commonly found in woodlands, meadows, and gardens, and is sometimes used as a substitute for sour lemon in cooking. It is also used in traditional medicine to treat various ailments, such as diarrhea, fever, and sore throat.

What herb helps to heal esophagus lining ?

One herb that is commonly used to promote the healing of the esophageal lining is Slippery Elm (Ulmus rubra). Slippery Elm contains a substance called mucilage, which forms a protective coating on the lining of the esophagus, helping to soothe inflammation and irritation.
Slippery Elm can be taken orally as a supplement or prepared as a tea. To make Slippery Elm tea, mix one tablespoon of the powdered herb with hot water, let it steep for a few minutes, and then consume it slowly. 🌿

Thank you very much ! Habe look for it to harvest myself because I do not trust anymore this days to supplements on market. Too much fillers and fake stuff.

May I also suggest growing some marshmallow.
Marshmallow root is also high in mucilage, is slightly sweet and is infused in cold water overnight. I keep a half gallon jar of it in the fridge for my hubby to drink for his GERD.
