Hey Lori! Im ecstatic you are here and found my channel! Thank you for the kind comment. Its comments like yours that motivate me to keep making videos. I love helping people learn about this stuff!
Heres some herbs to try, that can help your Crohn's Disease!
Aloe Vera: Known for its anti-inflammatory properties, aloe vera may help reduce inflammation in the digestive tract. However, it's important to use aloe vera carefully as it can have laxative effects.
Turmeric: Curcumin, the active compound in turmeric, has potent anti-inflammatory properties and may help reduce inflammation in the gut. It's often used as a supplement or spice in cooking.
Peppermint: Peppermint oil may help alleviate symptoms like abdominal pain and bloating in some people with Crohn's disease by relaxing the muscles in the digestive tract.
Ginger: Ginger is another herb known for its anti-inflammatory properties. It may help alleviate nausea, a common symptom of Crohn's disease, and also has digestive benefits.
Marshmallow Root: Marshmallow root contains mucilage, a substance that forms a protective layer in the digestive tract. It may help soothe irritation and inflammation in the intestines.
Chamomile: Chamomile has anti-inflammatory and anti-spasmodic properties that may help calm the digestive system and reduce symptoms like abdominal pain and cramping.
Slippery Elm: Like marshmallow root, slippery elm contains mucilage and may help soothe inflammation and irritation in the digestive tract.
Boswellia: Also known as Indian frankincense, boswellia contains compounds that have anti-inflammatory effects and may help reduce inflammation in the gut.
Licorice Root: Licorice root has been traditionally used to soothe gastrointestinal symptoms and may help reduce inflammation in the digestive tract. However, it should be used cautiously as it can raise blood pressure in some people and interact with certain medications.
      Hope that helps friend! 🌿

I never knew that the nemesis of my infancy, Ipecac Syrup, had a plant origin. That may have some supresses memories associated with it😂
Cool list! My apothecary instructor kind of just said what things did, so I'm still completely unfamiliar with a lot of the actual terms. Thank you!

Thats funny! Im sure those "core memories" are very tramatizing having to swallow that horrible tasting syrup lol.Thats very facsinating that it has a plant origin along with alot of other medications. Now they have isolated and chemically synthesized all the active ingredients and useful molecules in modern medicine. I prefer the natural full spectrum ingredients that the raw plant offers. I think it is mre bio-available and easier for the body to absorb and assimilate. Thanks for the funny story Frog In Progress! 🌿
